She smiled, kissing the tip of his nose gently. "And I would stop the world from turning for you." She whispered, tilting her head up and looking into his dark chocolate brown eyes. She meant it,every word she said. Of course, she had jumped in front of bullets for Steve, and even risked her own life to get him out alive. But she would go above and beyond that for Bruce, she would take on an army, alone, for him. Go against impossible odds, and fight her hardest to make it back out to him. Bruce smiled at her. He'd brave the largest army for her. He'd face all the gods and goddesses in the world for her. Just as long as she was safe and out of harm's way. He leaned in and gently planted his lips on hers, giving her a quick kiss of his affection. She'd been on the edge for a moment, teetering between jumping and living and Bruce Wayne was glad that Hailey Heart hadn't jumped before he'd gotten there. |
