It always amazed her how things got to where they are, and now she did not really care. She was with Tony and she loved him, he was a wonderful man. No he was not pure but he truly was the man of her dreams. He didn't start that way, but he ended up that way. That was what was important, she enjoyed the way he looked at her. It was a beautiful thing, and he was all hers. She trusted him like no other. And she was really beyond happy and it was all because of what he did for her.
Tony was a man of mystery but if you knew enough about him. The mystery came to become something beautiful, and really it was a wonderful thing. But something about this moment made her rather curious, she heard what he said to her. And was wondering what was up. She trusted Tony but sometimes she thought that he did not know she trusted him so much. If he could trust her with the secret of being Iron Man, then she could trust him with her inner most thoughts, something that she told him very often to make him remember.
Remember how he use to be and what he was now, it was like night and day he had changed so much. But then she did not need to think when he said to close her eyes, she smiled a little bit wondering what this was all about. And deep down she was rather excited. As she closed her eyes and felt Tony leading her some place, she felt her heart beating quickly. And it was more excitement then anything. She had a smile on her face the whole time, and then she felt him stopping and wondered.
"Yes they are closed Tony, what are you up to? Course knowing you something rather beautiful and something romantic. Since you can be rather romantic when you want to be, part of your charm that I have grown to adore more then anything. Since you are something else, and that is a nice compliment to give a guy" She said and chuckled a little bit, waiting to see what in the world he was up to.

 Her eyes are closed and in any minute, the big surprise will show up. Pepper just went on and on, asking Tony what he was up to. "Relax Pepper, don't get all your panties in a bunch. It's gonna come up" he said as he chuckled a bit. Tony went to great lengths for the surprise as he looked at the Eiffel tower, the beautiful structure that people go on, the people look above Paris. He did have something in mind and when she see's it, her jaw would drop immediately. Tony saw it and smiled, "Alright Pepper, open your eyes" he told her. Tony pointed to the Eiffel tower that said..... TONY AND PEPPER 4 EVER The sign on the tower was very bright for everyone to see, including Tony and Pepper. It was filled with the colors of orange. He wrapped his arms around her waist and leaned his heard toward her cheek. "I love you Pepper" he whispered in her ear as he alongside with Pepper kept their eyes on the surprise. Of course Pepper was shocked and could not believe it, it's not a surprise to Tony, he knew this reaction would happen. More importantly it's a sign of Tony's love for Pepper and how much she means to him. |
