Basically, ages ago, I said to Silence about 'what if one of Mamelia were an angel'... That was just after I mentioned one of them being a merperson... Imagine both together! Matthew as an angel and Amelia as a merperson...

Anyway, yes. I was listening to Halo - Beyoncé and I imagined something which looked so much better than this! Tbh it was more digital drawing than anything else and I can't draw for shit on a tablet - trust me, I have one and have attempted art with it before - so I had to do what I could with what I had.... Basically, James is possessed by an evil force, Amelia is... Well... Amelia, and Matthew's an angel - probably Raphael who is a healer...

Okay first: I have been obsessed with Pacific Rim after I saw it on Monday and so if edits start appearing of various pairings with Jaegers then that's why.... I'm planning on doing one for Mamelia and one for James/Alyss with an explanation as to why for both of those....
BUT THAT IS NOT TODAY
This is a different AU which is related to the above. Now, it's almost 5am so this is going to be short and to the point - hopefully.
Angel!Matthew (Matthew possessed by Raphael) and Demon!Amelia (Amelia possessed by idk who... Lilith, possibly?). I get the feeling one of the possessing entities would try to kill the other - probably Lilith trying to kill Raphael... But that's the idea this is based on. Don't ask. I was watching Supernatural and this is the only break I've had from my Pacific Rim influenced ideas for the past three days... Though I'm not complaining about being influenced for three days.
ANYWAY, yeah... There are two other versions of this - one with lyrics from The Kill (Bury Me) by 30 Seconds to Mars and one with lyrics from No Light, No Light by Florence + The Machine.

I have too many AU thoughts.
PACIFIC RIM INSPIRED!
Guis, you gotta see Pacific Rim if you can. It's totally worth it. The visuals are amazing, the plot is simple but big enough that it's awesome, all the characters have back stories and personalities that give you a feel for them even if they don't talk like my favourite character - Sasha Kaidonovsky who is a fucking badass - and it's just absolutely worth seeing in the cinema. Best film of 2013, in my opinion.
Anyways... I'll say right now: I only made the manip of Mamelia and put it with the poster of the Jaeger. I designed the Jaeger on Warner Bros' Jaeger designer which you can find through Google and the designer lets you make a poster with your Jaeger on it. I designed this one with Mamelia in mind. I also have a Jaeger I designed for James/Alyss which I'll put into a picture one day like this... There are also blueprints in the background - you can see them better around Matthew and Amelia than anywhere else - which also came from the designer. It's one of the poster designs and tells you how tall your Jaeger is! 312 foot tall, Gotham Steel is. And yes, I did come up with the crappy name. Not sorry!

Another AU. God damnit I really do have too many current AUs AND I'M DOING NONE OF THEM FOR THIS MONTH'S PROMPT STORY - which I really have to finish...
Anyway, this is related to the villain!Jenna AU from about a week or two ago. I've expanded on the kidnapping thing though and included four other characters, as is obvious from this image thingy.
So, I was trying to think of how to word what was going on, like the dialogue, but I couldn't figure it out and the two things I thought of looked crap so I left it blank. Prefer it like this. IT TOOK SO LONG TO GET IT TO LOOK RIGHT, TOO, WITH THE COLOURING AND SHIT. GOD DAMNIT IMAGE THINGIES WHY MUST YOU ALL NOT BE RIGHT WITH COLOURING?! D:
But yeah, so Jenna in her wicked, villain-y way kidnaps Dylan Carrero, Amelia Blake, Matthew Reid, James Wayne and Silas Mortimer. I'm gunna be honest here; James was just to build up the numbers because I realised otherwise it would have been weirdly shaped and I didn't want weirdly shaped. XD But then she tells them all, while masking her voice, that they have to kill each other and the last person left will be let go.
This is some Saw shit right here. I think that's where I got most of this idea from, tbh... 'Cause I have seen Saw I and though it was absolute crap, the series - or what I've seen of the series (first film and a few clips on YouTube) - did kind of give my mind the ability to think of some real twisted shit... Well... Saw and Criminal Minds... And now Hannibal... Damn. All the characters on here are fucked if I get near them with a plot...
But yeah, anyways...

Based on a thought we (Silence and I) had last night: Michael as a Cannibal. I might base my prompt story on this as well as what it's already based on. XD The idea of two people arguing and then Cannibal!Michael eating one of them.
The song Cannibal by Ke$ha suits him as a cannibal...

The lines up there are from a song I can't remember. I first heard them in Alice: Madness Returns. It's linked to a character in the game - the main enemy - called The Dollmaker. I'm aware there's a Dollmaker in the Batverse, too. He features in the last issue of the Death of the Family plot arc.
But the full version of that from the game is...

Reason: Death of pilot - John Blake.
YESSIR, WE HAVE AMELIA AND JOHN BLAKE WITH THEIR OWN WONDERFUL JAEGER. Déesse Terrifiante. It means Terrifying Goddess in English which is possibly my favourite Jaeger name ever. I was going to put this up last night/this morning but it was 4:38ish when I finished (it took me a while because my laptop was messing up so badly I s2g I restarted 5 six times in the course of one and a half hours) so I went to bed instead... But it is here! The lyrics are from No Light, No Light - Florence + The Machine because I was making it and all I could think of was that song.
This is based on a fanfic I'm writing of HA/Pacific Rim cross-over. Amelia used to be a Jaeger pilot with John as her co-pilot but he died while fighting a Kaiju and thus while in the Drift (neuro-link between pilot 1, pilot 2 and their Jaeger - meaning other pilot can feel their feelings and hear their thoughts) and so Amelia quit being a pilot once the Jaeger got picked up safely and went back to SHIELD. It's set a couple of years later where the Jaeger project has had its funding cut and have 8 months left. All remaining Jaegers are moved to the Hong Kong Shatterdome and from there they have to protect against the Kaiju until the final plan.
I HAVE BASICALLY EXPLAINED 90% OF THE FILM'S PLOT. Everything after 'a couple of years later' is the actual plot of the film. But there's parts I don't like in the film so it's AU where those particular things haven't happened or won't happen... BUT THIS IS AMELIA AND JOHN WITH THEIR BEAUTIFUL JAEGER THAT I DESIGNED ON WARNER BROS JAEGER DESIGNER. It has a fucking plasma cannon.
Anywho, yes. here it is!

Another Pacific Rim imspired one between John, Amelia and Matthew. In the top one, it's what Amelia remembers of John dying - his half of the Conn-pod (the place where the pilots are in order to control the Jaeger) blows up and/or falls apart - and the bottom half is Amelia and Matthew attempting to Drift in order to pilot Gotham Steel, but she starts 'chasing the rabbit', which means following one particular memory, and so Matthew sees the whole she-bang. Pun intended, there.
The lyrics are from No Light, No Light - Florence + The Machine. It makes me think of Terrifiante in this idea...

Michael and Reginald. Reginald is a character I've requested in the Wanted OC thread, played by John Simm, who is a friend of Michael and I made this before deciding I wanted to request him. LOGIC, am I right?
Anyway, yeah, so that's who this is. You can blame Doctor Who for Reginald. I was watching the last episode of the third series which has John Simm in it as The Master and my mind went '... yes. him.' and then Reginald was requested.
I'm surprised by how many manips I can put the 15 promo photos from Sherlock into... Tbh, I've only used a handful of them because they're the ones with the solid background instead of standing on a staircase or against a non-solid background... XD

GOTHAM JAEGER TEAMS!
Jane/Matthew - Eight years strong (2016 - 2025)
Amelia/John - Retired due to pilot death (2016 - 2020)
Dylan/Jenna - Retired due to Jaeger being taken offline by UN (2017 - 2020)
Ryan/Jim - Retired due to Jaeger being taken offline by UN (2015 - 2020)
These are the Gotham teams! The wonderful Gotham teams. I only have Jaeger names for two of them, Matthew/Jane and Amelia/John, but the others are kind of headcanons I've recently come up with. Drifting requires two people with a strong bond or at least being compatible - in the case of Mako Mori and Raleigh Becket from the film - and these pairs are the ones from Gotham that I think would be the most stable and the best matched. I'd also put James and Alyss together in a Jaeger, but the chances are that halfway through you'd end up with two wolves in a 200+ ft tall robot and everything would go to Hell... I'd also put Veronica and Michael in one but idk how well that would go either given that Michael isn't exactly violent........ Idk about Veronica, tho...
But anyway, these are the four pairings I came up with for this so here we are! Little bit of history of Jaeger program before 2025.
2013: First Kaiju attack which lasted from 10th of August - 15th of August. The Kaiju, known as Trespasser, killed millions of people and moved through three cities before three nuclear missiles were set on it.
2014: Creation of the Pan Pacific Defence Corp, which was created by the UN to defend against the Kaiju. There had been four Kaiju attacks before the PPDC were brought about.
2015: Mark I Jaegers created and sent to Pacific bordering countries and their new Shatterdomes. Teams were assigned for each city/country. 3+ Jaegers per city/country.
2016: Mark II Jaegers created.
2017: Mark III Jaegers created.
2018: Mark IV Jaegers created.
2019: Mark V Jaeger created - last Jaeger to be created which cost one billion Australian dollars. Mark V Jaeger is Striker Eureka.
2020: Kaiju begin winning more fights against the Jaegers. Jaeger project slowly phased out in order for Wall of Life being build on coastal cities neighbouring the Pacific Ocean.
2024/2025: Remaining Jaegers taken to Hong Kong Shatterdome - first and last Shatterdome to be active.
And finding the above out made me so damn confused about one of the canon teams and how long they'd been active because dates say 10 years but canon says 6... But here is the image!

Me rambling during the making of - It's a WMA and you have to download it if you want to listen. Also it took two hours. I was rambling for two hours - near enough - straight. My throat hurts now. Also the tone keeps falling and raising back to natural tone and bits jump near the beginning... I would put up a transcript or something but I can't be bothered so no.
But basically, I was watching a Hawkeye/Black Widow fanvideo to Fire and Ice - Within Temptation and that song reminded me of John and Amelia so I did a thing...
