More Than Words ~Amelia~

[Amelia Raven Blake]

Amelia sighed and nodded slightly. "I just wish they could hear me..." A tear glittered in her eye and fell from her eye, but it disintegrated before it touched anything, as though it had never been there. She sighed and ran a hand back through her hair. For a moment she said nothing, just stared out the window, calling up old memories, feeling some slip away. But she couldn't remember which ones she'd forgotten.

She sighed and rose from the bench. "Thank you Hunter...for everything..." She gave him a faint smile, "If you see them, perhaps you could tell Xavier and Scout I said hello..." Another sigh left her lips.

[Hunter Evans]

Hunter looked at her, "Yeah..i wished they could hear you too "he said to her and smiled some. He looked out the window some as well. Hunter looked back at Amelia. "Yeah, no problem Amelia " he said softly and smiled some at her. He nodded, "I will tell them that " he said to her.

"So where can we meet?..you need to show me the way to where they live " Hunter asked her and smiled some. Hunter wasn`t the best at directions.

She sighed softly. She hated not being able to contact them. She sighed again and looked at him, her blue eyes hazy...hazy with death. They hadn't brightened. She didn't know if that was normal, she'd never seen a ghost before. She hadn't looked at herself in a mirror, she feared seeing nothing but blankness before her. That would be worse.

Amelia gave him a smile of thanks. "Meet me here I suppose..." She sighed once more, "You'll have a lot of driving to do though, John and Alyss live in Gotham."

[Hunter Evans]

Hunter looked at Amelia, he nodded and smiled some, "Okey, here`s a good spot to meet " he said to her and smiled some more at her. He raised a brow, "Wow..to Gotham..yeah that`s a long drive, but i don`t mind..never been to Gotham before though" he said to her and sighed. Even though it was a long drive for Hunter,he didn`t mind driving there, he would help Amelia with this.

"So then we meet here on saturday " he said and looked at her. "Well i should be heading back to school..do some reading " Hunter said and smiled to her.

Amelia nodded slightly. "It's nice...I guess...kind of like New York to tell the truth..." A far away look glazed her eyes. She missed them, her heart ached for them. She yearned for the sound of their voices. She sighed. "Yeah...I'll see you saturday then...here...Thank you." She knew she'd never be able to thank Hunter enough for giving her time with her family, time where she'd actually be able to speak with them.

Hunter looked at her and smiled some. "Well that sounds nice..can`t wait to go there with you" he said and smiled some more. He grabbed his jacket and looked around a bit, "You`re welcome Amelia and we`ll see eachother saturday " he said standing up,putting his jacket on.


Hunter was ready to leave the diner now, but he looked at Amelia once more, "You`re gonna be fine,right ?" he asked her.

Amelia offered a shaky smile. "There's gonna be a lot of tears..." her words were spoken in a mutter and she sighed softly. "Yes...see you Saturday..." She was about to turn and head out when his voice stopped her, "As fine as I can be away from the man I love." She said softly, her head turned to look at him as she sighed and turned around again and melted out into the crowds and was gone.
