Steve shrugged, "She's probably in that little coffee shop... He said with a slight grin. Of course she was there, were else would she be? Other then training. "No he wasn't pleasant, not at all." He nodded slightly at when she said she knew some mutants and he shrugged, letting it slid by. He chuckled as she mentioned Sam's obsession of coffee. "We all have those things that we'd die without, don't we?" He asked with a slight grin.
"Actually I'm looking for her because I'm her trainer...she's training to be an Agent." Steve told her, and then frowned slightly, "The Future? Well it's confusing," he chuckled, "Seems only yesterday that I was with my friend Bucky at the future center where Mr. Howard Stark was saying we'd soon have flying cars. And now his son is a flying superhero."

" she said softly and looked at him. " so do you want to get some cocoa ?" she offered , finding him a likable fellow.

Steve shrugged, "Sure, why not? Lead the way Brody." He found that he'd been spending quite a lot of time with the females of Manhattan and decided he needed to spend more time with the other Avengers. He didn't to find Tony so he could argue with him. That always kept the super soldier entertained.
"Yeah, I'm her trainer, she has, has she?" He asked when Brody told him that her sister had always wanted to help people. It sounded much like himself. "I'll tell you want ever you would like to know I suppose," Steve told her with a slight shrug.

Brody smiled brightly and walked with him and sighed softly. "Faen at man skal gå tenke så mye på ting .. hvorfor kan jeg ikke bare slappe av og slutte å bekymre meg om andre mennesker .. hva de vil mene om de visste hva jeg er " she talked to herself with the belief that this man , this all american boy couldnt speak one her languages.
She always worried about what she was due to the conflict between the normals and the mutants , people feared her kind and hated them for what they couldnt help. They had the cure but she didnt trust it and she didnt want to give up her gifts , it was the only thing that made her special.
"im happy to hear that she is realizing her dream , yeah ever since we were kids , she said she wouldnt let what happened to us happen to others " she sighed softly and thought back at the past and clenched her fists , she had so much hate and anger towards that man, the things he had done. " is she happy? does she sleep properly ? no nightmares ? does she have a boyfriend?" she asked softly and hoped her sister was happy and safe.
"she is always been the sweetest one of us , more of the shy and gentle one .. the one who gets her is lucky " she said softly and looked at the ground as she walked with him over to a little tea shop that also sold her favorite cakes when she was a little girl
translation - Damn that one should go and think about so much. why cant i just relax and stop worrying about other people.what otherthey would think if they knew what i am .

Steve looked at her, "What ever do you mean? I mean what you said in Norwegian..." He glanced at her and sighed, "Never mind I don't mean to pry."
He shrugged, "From what I can see, is that she's quite happy. But that's what I see of her." He smiled slightly at her and sighed, following. "Yes you're right whoever does get her will be a very lucky man."

She blinked and had a shocked face as he freaking understood her , what? how ? did he know norwegian ? oh shit .. no wonder he sked what she meant , should she tell him ? would he laugh and call her a freak or would he show kindness , she couldnt lie and there was no point in lying about it " put two and two together , how i know so much about mutants .. " she mumbled and awaited the freak word or worse.
" thats good .i just want her to be happy , id do anything for her " she siad softly and looked at him. " dont get wrong . but she is clueless when it comes to feelings , at least she used to " she sighed heavily and looked at the sky " you ever feel that whatever you do .. youll always be stuck in the same path "

He cocked his head slightly and smiled wryly at her, "What kinds of things can you do?" He asked, interested in what her mutant powers or whatever they were called were.
Steve nodded at her last words, "All the time pretty much..." It was true, he felt that he was always walking on the same path. He felt like a freak and he knew he never could be an ordinary person, but that was what he wanted above all else.

Broden sighed softly as she heard his question and she saw him smiling. She understood why some women found him so damn appealing but she didn't feel the spark, she knew that the most these two could ever be was friends. " hmm .. you really wanna know .. ?"
She waited and hoped he would forget about her powers , even if she knew that she should just tell him and await his reaction , whether it be positive or negative. She smiled softly and looked at him as he talked. "mhm . no matter how hard you try , you cant change who or what you are .. always on the outside , no special enough to be unique and too special to be normal" she said softly and sighed softly. " my sister was the lucky one , no special ability , no freaky mutant genes " she said softly and looked at him.
"you wanted to know what i do . i heal , i mean like really heal fast , makes it impossible to end this ...nope not until i get so weakened and hurt ..that ahm .. just really hard to die " she laughed softly and looked down " second thing i can do is the biggest pain in the ass of them all .. lets just say sparky fits "

"You are not a freak, Brody." Steve told her firmly, placing his hands on her shoulders. "You may think it's horrible but you have a gift, Miss Winters, and you need to accept it. Do you understand?"
He sighed, "Healing is hardly a freakish power, neither are these 'sparky fits' you speak of." He sighed again and took his hands off her shoulders.

Broden sighed softly and looked at him as he placed his hands on her shoulders. His words on how she should accept her gifts, but it was hard to see them as anything else than a curse. "i hear your words and i try to look at them as anything different than a curse but it is hard , they were the reason i had to leave home , the reason i had to leave my family.. " she said softly and looked at him
She sighed heavily and licked her lips a bit more." healing . that i can work with but the electricity.. its dangerous to others .. i have hurt someone with it .. it was a simple bully when i was younger but i nearly killed him ." she said softly and told him the one thing she had told only her family. " i couldn't control it back then . but still i should have stopped myself ...i am just glad to be able to control it now .." she said softly and looked at him as he removed his hands from her shoulders. " thank you .. for being so kind .. my sister is lucky to have you as her trainer" she said softly and looked at the sky.

He sighed and said, "Why don't you come back to SHIELD with me? I'm sure Fury will let you join us, then you can use your powers to protect the earth for danger. He may even let you join the Avengers." He looked at her, hoping she would accept, she'd get to see Sam and she'd be doing good.
"You'd probably run into Sam as well," He added, smiling slightly at her. "I'm sure you'll like it there, it's not all that bad." He shrugged slightly. "You won't have much sleeping hours and Fury is a little strict, but all in all it's a good place to be."

Broden sighed softly and looked at Steve while he spoke and told her to come with him to shield in his soft and gentle way."Shield huh .. this fury guy .. you sure he wants one of my kind in his team ?" she wasn't sure how this fury would react , hell she didn't know how the others on the team would react to having a mutant on the team but she did promise Hailey that she would go see him so why not. "Fine ill go with you but I'm not making any promises i will behave .. so Steve .. how did you become part of the team ?"
She smiled at the thought of seeing her sister again , she always thought of Sam as the sweeter one of the two , the one with the most potential and that was why she felt so angry and hateful at the hateful old man who broke her.She still regretted not killing the old man as soon as she got her powers but before she got the chance to do it , the old rotten man died in his sleep of a heart-attack. he didn't deserve to die so peacefully. "it would be nice to meet Sam again ." she said softly and licked her lips a bit roughly " sleeping ? huh not much of it .." she said with a heavy sigh " so fury sounds like a bossy guy .. so you really think fury wants to have a mutant on his team ?"

"Of course," said Captain Rogers with a shrug, and then responded, "Me? Well it's a bit of a long story..." He sighed and smiled a bit wryly at her. "Don't worry, I'm sure it will be fine." Steve could sort of understand why she didn't want to go, he hadn't wanted to work with SHIELD either in the very beginning so in a way he understand.
"I'm sure Sam would like to see you again as well," the captain replied with a smile. "And I can take you to met Fury if you'd like." He shrugged slightly and looked at her. Her and Sam were so much a like, but in a way so very different.
