Sinestro grinned and shot at Hailey with the yellow power that morphed into a spear. He hoped to kill the girl, but then again wanted to only wound her so that he could end her life slowly. He watched it. But it didn't hit the girl. It hit a man, who jumped in front of the woman and something round slapped into Sinny's stomach, knocking him backwards.

Hailey had seen her chance, and when the raptor had dodged away to remove her handiwork, she had dragged herself to her feet, and limped away, as best as her leg would carry her. She was clutching her side, and trying to minimize the trail of her blood. She slammed her back to the wall, panting, and trying to stop the blood flowing from the hole in her exposed calf, and her sliced side.
She hadn't seen anyone hop in, and she was focusing on getting out of the way. |

Victor looked over to see who had noticed over the purple skinned alien. It was none other than Captain America. Victor hissed, this day was getting better and better. He almost killed the Captain's new lover, and now he would get a shot at the Captain himself, while he was defending his precious girlfriend. His thoughts were as scaly as his skin, and he wanted to kill this man, whom had escaped him before, in the coffee shop. He waned to morph into his human self, and taunt the man, but decided against it. He would torment him later, when they had him subdued, and then they would make him watch as they slowly killed Hailey. |

Steve leaped in front of Hailey and felt the spear sink into his side, similar to Hailey's own wound. He ripped it out and threw it at Sullivan. Blood spilled from the wound as he fell to his knees, taking his gun from his pocket and shooting it at Sullivan and then at Sinestro. "Hailey," he croaked, "what the hell were you thinking!?" He exclaimed, his voice pained as a trickle of blood dripped from his mouth.
Steve gulped and coughed, blood spattering against the ground. "Get out of here, Hailey, now!" He snapped.

She heard Steve's voice, but didn't want to believe it was him. She looked around, and saw the steel lit of a garbage can. She grit her teeth, and limped over to it, picking it up. She turned o ut again, and limped to Steve's side, holding the lid like a shield. "I'm not going anywhere." She knelt by him, well dropped to her knees. She looked at him, pain in her eyes. "You aren't getting rid of me that easily." She smiled faintly, and then stood, facing the three villains. "Leave him alone. This is my fight." She challenged them. [/color] |

Victor hissed at Hailey, and looked to Sinny and Sully. Asking them if he could kill her. She said it was her fight, and he wanted to give it to her. This would be her last fight, and it would be by his claws. (Short, but it will help with writers block if you have any! :3 ) |

Sully nodded to Victor as a spear buried itself into his shoulder and then a bulet slammed into his leg. He threw glass at Steve and then at Hailey before he collapsed onto his knees, his legs unable to hold him as Steve shot him again before the glass collided with him.

Sinestro nodded towards Victor as he got to his feet and and threw a dagger at Steve, watching with satisfaction when it hit him in the chest. Steve's bullet hit him in the side and he cursed.
(i know they are both short...)

She raised her shield to block the glass, but she didn't catch the dagger. When it hit him, she looked over him him, worry on her face. She kneeled down, and laid him back. "Stay here. Just like our second mission." She whispered to him softly. "Don't touch the knife, you'll make it worse." She bit her lip, and looked up. "I'm borrowing your shield." She switched the trashcan lid for the shield, and then she was attacked by the raptor. |

Victor hissed when he was cleared an lunged for Hailey. She had lifted her shield just in time, and his snout collided with the hard vibranium. He hisses in slight pain, and lashed out at her legs with his claws. He heard her yelp as his talons struck home. |

The dagger hit Steve in the chest and as Hailey leaned him down, he gently pushed her away. "No," He wheezed, getting up and pulling the dagger out, with a cry of pain as the blood gushed down his front. "I can't fight with this damn thing in my chest," He growled as Sinny vanished. He went at Sully. The blood stained his front and side, both spilling out the red liquid. "Get away from her!" He snarled and lashed out at Victor after hearing Hailey's yelp.

Hailey heard Steve, and grit her teeth, struggling underneath Victor. "Steve. Go!" She shouted, over another yelp. The raptor had menuvered it's head, and was biting down on her shoulder now. She screamed when it sunk it's teeth into her flesh, and started to tear its head around. "Steve, please!" She shouted in agony. |

Victor hissed, and sunk his teeth into Hailey's shoulder. Her warm sticky blood started to flood into his mouth, erupting the raptor's instincts to kill and eat. But he was still planning on making it a slow painful death. He hissed around her arm, as Steve tried to get him off, he swung out with his tail, trying to hit him. |

"Hailey!" shouted Steve and he grabbed his shield and slammed it into Victor, hoping to knock the raptor off of her. "Fight me, I'm sure your anger is against me and not Hailey." He snapped at Victor and once again slammed his shield into the raptor. The blood drenched his front and he was hardly able to stand.

Victor hissed at Steve, and dropped Hailey from his jaws, slamming his foot down onto her stomach, causing her to spit up a mouthful of blood. He hissed in cruel laughter, and turned to look at Steve. He hissed, Hailey's blood dripping from his teeth.
He snapped his jaws at him, standing between him and Hailey, forcing him to stay away from her. He wanted to make her bleed out beyond repair, and make Steve watch. |

Hailey slumped to the ground, her left hand clutching her bleeding shoulder. She yelped, but it was cut short by a gurgling cough up of blood. Now her blood dripping down her face. Her head rolled to the side, and she looked at Steve. She tried to tell him no, and to just go, but she couldn't. So she just shook her head at him, her eyes wide in slight shock, her own blood rushing up around her fingers from the wound in her shoulder. [/center] |
