She took a deep breath and couldnt help but to feel like she was a monster right now, A sweet girl was in pain because of her , because she came to see him.She had no idea how to fix this but she also kenw that she would always have a place for steve in her heart.She loved him too damn much to let go , to truly let go of him.
"yes . i can sit with you .. " she said softly and grabbed a seat and sat down next to his bed , holding his hand gently. "steve .. is it true .. that im the one " she whispered and leaned down and kissed his hand.

Steve gently patted the bed, "No up here." He said hoarsely. "Yes...Sam, I realized it as soon as you left. You don't have to believe me, but I hope you do. I love you, forever." He smiled slightly at her, still hoping she'd come up onto the bed so he could hug her, which he was unable to do when she was sitting. short |

Sam smiled as he patted the bed but she was worried that she might injure him if she did move into the bed."b-but it could hurt you ?, maybe do more damage then good ..i don't want you to be in pain " she whispered softly to him.She didn't know what to do . she wanted to be beside him in that bed but she also didn't want to make his injuries worse."i love you so much Steve .. that i feel its impossible to ever show you how much i truly do love you "
She moved up in the bed gently and hoped to god,any god out there that he wouldn't be in pain due to this."better? you're not hurting worse now?" her tone full of worry and concern.She just couldn't get over the fact that Hailey now must in the same kind of dark despair that she was.

Steve smiled at her and put an arm around her, pulling her close to him. "I'm fine, don't worry." He told her gently. He took her hand and intertwined his fingers with hers. "I'm sorry...I didn't see what I had when I had it..." He brushed his hand through her hair, staring into her eyes. He gently leaned forward and kissed her nose. " good . but ill always worry about you " she softly kissed his cheek and tangled her fingers into his. "we never seem to know what we have when we have it . its gonna be okay this time around . right " she said softly , barely a whisper. Steve looked at her and kissed her. He broke the kiss and leaned his forehead against hers. "Sneaky little devil, eh?" He chuckled, "That's me." He grinned at her, "I'm sorry for everything." He kissed her again, passionately. He felt horrible for letting Hailey go...but he'd known after he'd seen Sam walk away that it was her whom he'd loved. |

Sam sighed softly and smiled before his lips met hers in a sweet kiss.She had to smile a bit as he leaned his forehead against hers."mhm .. you can be very sneaky sometimes .. dont think i dont know about you borrowing my chapstick " she said softly and smiled a bit more before he began to apologize again for letting her go. "its okay steve . its in the past .. " she whispered softly and deepened his kiss a bit more. She was so in love with this man , she would forgive him no matter what he had done.

Sam sighed softly and smiled softly as she looked at the first and only love she had ever had.She wondered what that smile was all about but she didnt want to ask. She didnt have to wait long before he shared what was on his mind.
A party ? but that would mean i have to dance .. i cant dance to save my own life .. oh god but . he wants me to come with him .. i cant say no to that ..oh fine ..i guess i can hide away during the dances. "hmm .. a party .. well i would love to go with you but i should warn you .. i dont know how to dance either " she smiled and rested her head on a pillow.

"yes i guess so but who is going to teach us " she asked a bit curious as she couldn't think of anyone at shield that knew how to dance and that wouldn't mind teaching them but she would never ever asks her sister to teach them to dance as that would be chaos , it was the last thing she wanted to do.
Broden had this habit of making everything so comical , she had tried once before to teach her to dance and for two weeks all Sam had been allowed to listen to."i love you too .. so much .. i just want you to get better, its so odd seeing you in here " she said softly and kissed his cheek gently.

" I'm not sure i am very good at teaching dancing . i kinda look like a hamster with spasms when i dance " she said softly and smiles. " you promise ..? " she smiled and kissed his cheek and lips. "hmm.. you mean a dress .. oh i think i can find one " she said softly and looked up at the ceiling. " i hope so .. i do love the fact that you can ease my worries so quickly " she murmured softly and looked at him and blushed a bit softly.
