She nodded, glad to hear it. When he looked down his mind somewhere else, she reached out, one hand on his shoulder, the other gently on his stomach. "Are you alright?" She looked up into his pained green eyes; feeling a deep set worry for him.

Loki took a deep breath and let the memory vanish. With the memory that had surfaced he had almost felt the blade sinking into him and had, without knowing it, placed a hand at his stomach, almost expecting to see it red with blood. He closed his eyes for a moment and then reopened them, looking at Aurora. "I'm fine...just remembering a near death experience." He told her softly, his emerald eyes pained, the memory flashing through his eyes.

She nodded and leaned forward to him, hugging him gently. "Well, you aren't having a near death experience right now." She leaned back, and let go, feeling she had done something wrong. "Sorry." She murmurered.

Loki felt his heart quicken at her touch. When she leaned back and stopped the embrace, he felt it go back to normal. "Don't apologize..." He murmured, looking down at her, trying to hide the longing in his emerald orbs. He wanted to hold her again. He wanted to kiss her again. But she didn't remember, so he was unable.

She nodded, and hugged him once more, leaning her head on his chest. "Better?" She muttered, the downpour turning into a light drizzle. She felt safe in his arms, safer than she ever had before, and it felt natural.

Loki smiled and placed his chin on the top of her head, putting her arms around her and feeling her head against his chest. He sighed inwardly, he missed this. Ran had been one of the only people who understood him. Thor was too cocky and arrogant to care about Loki, even though he tried to make it appear like he did. Well Thor did care...perhaps a little bit. But not enough. Loki had only ever wanted to make their father proud...but it hadn't worked out very well.

She sighed slightly, feeling rather comfortable. "Are you alright, Loki?" She asked in a gently, yet slightly more authorized voice. She felt the pressure of his chin on the top of her head, and smiled, glad he was comfortable, though she barely knew him, but she felt like she knew him in an out.

Loki gave a wry twist of his mouth and looked down at her, "Yes, of course." He looked into her eyes. He just wanted her to remember, no he needed her to. She was the only who was ever truly there for him and now that she had no idea who he was...it hurt.

She sighed. "I'm sorry I don't remember." She muttered, moving her head to his chest, sighing softly. She turned her face to his chest, and closed her eyes, breathing softly. "So, so sorry." She muttered.

Loki looked at her, "Hey, it's not your fault, don't worry I'll help you." He told her gently. Loki tilted her head up, "I promise you I won't leave you until I figure out a way to get your memory back, got it?" He asked gently.

She looked into his beautiful eyes. "I trust you." She smiled faintly, returning her head to his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
---Memory--- Laying in the light rain, head on Loki's chest. The sound of his heart in her ear. Their capes overlapping in the grass, her ocean blue cape, tangled in his dark green one. "Loki, what is the point?" She asked, in a low tone. "The point of what Ran?" Loki responded. "Everything." She muttered. Loki looked over at her, not knowing how to respond. He leaned over and kissed her gently.
---End---
She looked up at Loki, a new light in her eyes.

"You remember?" breathed Loki, hopefully, smiling at the light in her eyes, something he'd seen when she was Ran. He gently brushed her hair back, staring into her eyes. "I love you...I always have and I always will"

She nodded in answer to his question. "I think I love you too." It sounded really lame, but she didn't know for sure. She sighed, wrapping her arms around his waist in a hug. She smiled at him, looking up into his face.

Loki looked down at her and felt joy stab him in the heart. There was no doubt in his mind that he loved this girl. But this wasn't Ran...not yet. But for who would he fall more in love with, the goddess or the mortal? The question nagged him and he pushed it away, just content to stare into her beautiful eyes. And Loki smiled. A true sincere smile that he hadn't smiled for a long time.

She smiled back at him. She released him from the hug, and slid her hand into his, again, it felt strange, but incredibly natural. She smirked as it was only dripping rain from the roof tops now, and not at all the angry storm it had been before. She leaned up, and placed a gently kiss on his lips, then falling back to her flat feet, she smiled up at him.
