After a series of secret wars and underground fighting, Brazil gets and Colombia was liberated by SHIELD, but otherwise South America remained under 3rd Reich Empires control.

1959: UPD manages to push the Nazi invasion and ethnic cleansing out of Israel. The tech that HYDRA was making was rapidly advancing, so UPD spends trillions of dollars to develop a new weapon that would serve as the flagship for SHIELD.
1965: The first Helicarrier was made operational and was almost immediately sabotaged by HYDRA. After managing to blow out 2 of the engines the Lexington was able to make a crash landing into the Pacific Ocean where Nick Fury and SHIELD forces managed to defeat the saboteurs. The Lexington was not to be operational again for another year.
1967: Cuba and Puerto Rico become USA’s 51st and 52nd state. SHIELD had developed the Enterprise and Essex Helicarrier.
1969: Atlantis attacks 3rd Reich Empire's territory after a UCarrier (HYDRA’s answer to the Helicarrier) invaded Atlantis territory. Southern France was ravaged until Hitler told Red Skull to wipe Atlantis out of existence. Red Skulls did so by using a series of Neutron bombs. The Tsunami that came ravaged both the USA’s East coast and Spain’s southern Coast. Namor gathered the last survivors and had an exodus into an unknown location.

1975: Lehnsherr’s School for gifted children is finally complete. The school focuses on self-preservation and for combat training. The school acts more like a militarized training facility than an academic institution. Erik Lehnsherr (AKA Magneto) is openly anti-Nazi.
1978: A success SHIELD operation liberates South Africa from Nazi control. This serves as a huge morale boost for the UPD.
1982: Victor von Doom leads resistance to liberate Latveria from the hands of the 3rd Reich Empire. Using his super intelligence, technology and sorcery he effectively starts to hurt Germany from within.
1987: SHIELD starts training children with special talents to serve as field agents. While may seem extremist nobody could argue with the results.
1990: Bucky was released from being frozen and reunites with his aged partner Steve Rogers. Bucky is given codename Winter Soldier and stops a terrorist plot in Canada.
1992: Hawkeye at the age of 12 assassinates Adolf Hitler with his trusty bow 5 miles away and escapes being captured. Englebert Eisenfleur rises to take the finally dead rulers place. HYDRA retaliates by detonating a Radiation bomb at Steve Rogers home killing thousands and giving their Captain America fatal radiation poisoning and confining him to a hospital.
1993: After fighting it for one year Steve Rogers finally succumbs to the Radiation poisoning. He passes over his indestructible to Bucky and dubs him the new Captain America.
1994: A meteor containing an alien organism collides with a German satellite, causing it to go off course from New York to Munich.
1995: HYDRA captures entrepreneur Tony Stark to make a new type of WMD. Tony Stark instead manufactures the first Iron Man suit and breaks out.
1997: Stark rapidly advances SHIELD-tech at the fastest rate since its founding and creation. Together with the new Captain America they founded the Avengers. They start recruiting members.
2001: On September 11 HYDRA uses brainwashing technique to have 2 pilots crash into the Stark Tower and Baxter building. While many died, no heroes were killed in the blast. The collapse of Stark Tower pushed back SHIELD tech by a decade. On the same day Nick Fury was affected too and attempted to crash the Helicarrier into the White House. Effort was stopped by Hawkeye when he put an arrow in Fury’s head seconds before the path was irreversible, but was shot in his left eye. Hawkeye replaces Fury as head of SHIELD.
2003: Norman Osborn buys 35% of all rights to create SHIELD-tech. Stark-tech’s monopoly has collapsed as smaller companies started picking up the slack after the 9/11 catastrophe.

2009: 3rd Reich Empire recovers from the depression and manages to capture Dr. Doom. On the day of the execution however rebels manage to break Victor out of prison. A 10 billion Mark bounty is put on the rebel leaders head.
