She took a deep breath trying to calm her nervous. She swallowed, leaning against the wall of the hotel. You can do this. she thought. She glanced in the mirror. She didn't recognize herself. Her hair was a deep coppery orange (she didn't like it at all), she'd dyed it and wasn't sure if it would come out easily, she didn't want to know. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, she hated that. Her mask covered her cheek bones and hooked over her nose. The part covering her nose was glittering silver while around her eyes it was a pale golden and around that was a coppery orange, the same color as her hair. Her silvery eyes stared back at her from the mirror, they were so haunting and was glad the contacts didn't rub. Her lips, painted red, parted in a sigh and she stepped the window flipping out and landing on her feet. She threw herself up the fire escape the cape of silver billowing out behind her. She crouched on top of the building, silvery eyes searching for two specks in the night...
Because she wasn't Amelia Smith, she was Oracle.

Robin sat on a roof, slightly apprehensive as he felt the scar on his face itching under his mask. his mind drifted to his partner, Amelia Raven Smith, but she wasn't here. And she wasn't Robin's, she was John Blake's partner.
Robin looked to his partner, the Batman. "According to scanners," He checked them to make sure. "The robbers are fleeing the scene," he paused for a moment. "Now." his voice was deep and gruff, but nothing like the rasping voice of his partner, and nothing like John Blake's voice....

Batman crouched beside his part, eyes flickering around, alert for any threat. He glanced down as Robin spoke, voice gruff, not at all his normal voice, something that the bat missed while his partner was Robin and not John Blake. He shook the thoughts off when Robin said that the robbers were fleeing at that moment. He gave a slight nod and saw something on another rooftop and thought it might be a robber or some type of villain from Arkham, but this something moved differently, more graceful. He turned to Robin, "Look," he murmured in his raspy timbre voice.

He looked over at Batman, looking to see what he was pointing at. Someone, or something was moving, down a fire escape. It was to graceful to be a villain. He nodded slowly.
"Cover me." he said in his gruff voice as he rose from his crouch. Without looking back, he backed up, and getting a running start, he leapt from the roof, flipping over in the air to reach his goal. He landed on the fire escape, making it rattle as he landed above her. "Who are you?" He asked in his deep gruff voice as it had been when he was talking to Batman. He dropped off the latter to stand behind her, his armored feet shaking the metal stairs...

Oracle hear the voice and as she turned around her red lips twisted into a smirk. Her voice hardened to an emotionless and empty tone, "Isn't that the point of the disguise? To hide your identity?" She continued to smirk as a wind brushed her cape around her feet. A strand of her dyed hair that was too short to stay in the ponytail fell down into her face cutting a coppery line right through her haunting silver eyes. Oh god, she thought. Her contacts were starting to itch. She blinked a bit, over and over, it wasn't normal she knew but she had no other way to stop the itch, she'd have to take off her mask to rub her eye with her finger and she wasn't going to do that. Then she took a good look at him. Robin. She wondered if she could fool him.

He smirked a little. He would have to agree with this woman there. But, there was something in her voice, could it be Amelia? He shook his head slightly. "I would have to agree with you there, Miss?" He was asking her title, his brown eyes gazing, unflinching, into her unusual silver eyes. He wondered why she blinked so much, but decided not to ask. But the though of: Could it be Amelia? not leaving his mind. But, the hair was the wrong color, and so were the eyes...

Oracle rolled her eyes, "Oracle." She kept her voice hard and emotionless. Her face hardened and she had an urge to brush away her hair, but that was an action Amelia would take, not Oracle. Oracle was a heroine and she wouldn't let a little hair get in her way. So she left it right there. She couldn't let anything slip, this was Robin, the love of her life and Batman, her cousin was stationed a few buildings away. She would have to use skills he hadn't seen before, she had a lot of those. The only thing she was worried about were the wounds that would come with this.

Robin bit his lip slightly, nodding. "Well, Oracle you can call me Robin." His voice was clipped slightly, as now half of his mind was occupied by Amelia... He shook his head slightly, the light on the moon shining slightly lighting the pale scar across his face, getting slightly hidden by his mask, only to show again over his forehead. It shone a pale white in the moonlight, looking painful, and menacing at the same time. He kept the shutter from his body as he remembered getting it, saving his love's life. He let his eyes flicker for a moment, but returned the, to hers once more..

Wondering why his partner was taking as long as he was, as it like the two were just talking, Batman brought out the cape and jumped, gliding over to the building, touching down easily. He took in the appearance of the girl with coppery hair and silvery eyes. Something about her was familiar though, but he brushed it off and decided it was nothing. Batman knew no one with that color hair or haunting eyes, neither did Bruce Wayne. He let his deep almost black eyes flicker from Robin to the girl. "Robin, come on, we have to go," growled the baritone rasp of the bat as his dark eyes flickered blankly from the girl, Oracle according to Robin, to his partner. They had robbers to stop. "Stay out of our way," his growling tone was sent towards Oracle.

Oracle had an urge to kiss him. It came over her but she pushed it down. She wasn't Amelia and this wasn't John Blake. She was Oracle and he was Robin. In the pale light she could see his scar, the one that he'd gotten defending her from Sullivan. A sigh almost slipped through her defenses as she almost went forward and tore off his mask to run her hand over his cheek. However hard it was, she resisted. She leaped back a bit, startled, when the bat landed on the building. Her eyes widened a bit as she pretended to be terrified of the looming figure. Great now I have to be a completely different person, he knows me like the back of his hand! Crap! This isn't going well at all! First I have an urge to kiss Robin and now Batty shows up!? She was second guessing...that wasn't good...

Robin nodded to the Batman. He had lost track while thinking of Amelia... "Right." He huffed, hopping onto the railing, looking at the Bat. He smiled faintly and let himself fall of the sixth story, spinning in the air, and landing hard on his feet, wincing slightly as he hit. He looked up at Oracle, and the Batman, as if saying You coming?He smirked, walking off as if it hand't hurt, which it slightly had.

Oracle smirked as Batman leaped down after his partner, landing nicely compared to the way Robin had landed, and her brain instantly hoped he was okay as she jumped off, did a flip and landed on her feet next to the Batman, who turned cold black eyes to her and she smirked but she couldn't help her eyes from flickering to Robin. "Are you okay?" she called to him, her voice mocking without a trace of concern she masked it easily. She put an easy smirk on her face, making her eyes empty in case he looked back at her. She made her voice sound like she didn't care, like she was mocking him to show a weakness and say that it had twisted his ankle a bit. But deep down inside she burned with concern.

He turned to look at her, a slight anger burning in his brown eyes. "I'm fine." He growled then turned his gaze to the Batman. It had hurt, and he was forced to hide his limp, from the Oracle, and from his partner. He knew Amelia would nag him for it, if she found out...if..He pulled a radar out of his utility belt and looked at it. "We have to go!" He turned and started to run, letting the wince cross his face as he looked away.
He continued to run, skidding to a stop, wincing at his left ankle. He lifted it slightly, keeping his heel off the ground, but in a low, under the radar way. He peeked around the corner looking at the robbers as they ran down the street...

Batman glared at Oracle for mocking his partner and climbed a building, standing above Robin, watching the robbers. He leaped across to another building his black eyes on the fleeing robbers. He jumped off and flew low overhead causing them to flinch and look around, frightened. But there was one man that didn't look frightened at all and the bat knew that this man was going to be the one that would be hard to get. He just hoped that the Oracle didn't get involved.

Robin leapt out at the same time as the Batman, wincing slightly at his left foot. He continued to move, slipping into the scattering mass, seeing several muzzles flashing with fire as they shot at him and the Batman.
He ducked under a fist and kicked the man's legs out from under him. He spun around, slamming his fist into another man's face. He saw one of the robbers aiming their gun at the Oracle, and he jumped in the way, the hot slug slamming into his shoulder, passing through his armor. He winced in pain, but he did not cry out as he ran at the man, ripping the gun from his hand and tossing it away, wincing in pain again as the maroon blood poured down his red and green armor.
He spun around, ducking under another fist. As he came back up, he took a fist to the jaw. He winced in pain as he took a step back, but he slammed his armored fist into the man's chest, sending him stumbling backwards.
He wiped the blood from his nose, lifting his fists again, the thougt crossing his mind that he would hear from Amelia for this. He rolled his shoulder, wincing in pain as the bullet shifted under the armor, and more blood spilled from the hole...
