Amelia broke the kiss in horror as she spotted red on his shirt. "Robin! You're bleeding!" she exclaimed horror in her voice and fear in her eyes. It was like her nightmare. A tear leaked down her face. Was she going to loose him when she just got him back? She couldn't. She'd have no reason to live. Fear flared up in her eyes.

He looked down at his shirt, seeing the blood, he sighed and looked back at her. He didn't want to tell her of his run-in with the goddess of death. He didn't want to tell her how he had to stab himself to come back to her. He didn't want to tell her, all the pain he went through, but he feared he would have to, at some point. "It's the price I payed to get back to you....and it was worth it." He said softly, pressing his forehead to hers. He knew she would ask more questions, maybe even make him show her, but he would, if she asked...

Amelia met his eyes, "What happened?" she murmured, "Show me what they did to you..." She swallowed, part of her didn't want to know but she had to know. She brushed her hand against his cheek gently and gave him a quick kiss. Her pretty azure orbs gazed into his muddy brown.

He let a sigh slip past his lips, kissing back for the quick moment. He took a step back from her, slipping out of her arms as he opened the vest, the blood showing plainly on his white button up. He started at the bottom and unbuttoned the whole thing, then wincing, he pulled up the left side, showing her...
The gray hand print covered the entirety of the wound, which had stopped weeping the second air got to it. It was a nastily twisted scar, gray and lifeless, small dark spots depicted a skull. The medium sized hand print covering it, was a lighter gray, the scar in the middle. He looked at her softly, hoping she wasn't appalled by it...

As soon as she saw it Amelia gasped. She felt her tears again. "I'm so sorry..." she murmured, feeling as though she should have gotten hit by those bullets. She swallowed and gently pulled him into a hug, silent tears dripping down her face. Her arms were around his neck and her chin rested on his shoulder. "So sorry..."

He gently wrapped his arms around her, turning his head and gently pressing his lips to her neck. "Don't be sorry..." He whispered softly, kissing her neck again gently. "You're more than worth it..." He wasn't planning on telling her how he had to stab himself, not someone else. He kept his lips pressed tenderly to her neck, he wanted her so badly, because he loved her. He wanted to spend his whole life with her, and no other. He wanted his second chance to count, he wanted Hel's and his own pain to be worth it. He loved Amelia so much, and he wanted her to know. He pulled his lips away to breath, and then pressed then back to her neck again after taking a breath.

She turned so she could look up at him, causing her shirt to fall from her shoulder, revealing two things; the dark bruise and how bony her shoulder was. Her eyes were puffy and red from crying and the dark bags hung under them, but despite all that they were still sparked whenever they looked at him. She gently brushed her lips against his jawline. She never wanted him to leave her side. She wanted him more then she'd ever wanted anyone in her life. She wanted her whole life to be spent with him she never wanted him to go.

He smiled softly as her lips trailed his jawline. When he let his eyes slid open, they landed on her bony shoulder and the large bruise. His eyes clouded in anger, and worry. "Amelia....why...? Who....?" He asked softly, turning his head to look at her, his lips brushing hers softly. He knew the bruises had to have come from the Batman, or Bruce, and he was angry, but he knew Bruce didn't know, or he wouldn't have done it...but he was still angry...he looked softly at Amelia, knowing it was his fault she was in this condition....his fault....

Amelia looked up at him and away at his reaction too her bony shoulder and the bruise. She swallowed slightly and murmured, "When you died...Batman blamed your death on me, he's been hunting the Oracle ever since. After you died...I ...I lost it...I went into depression...I didn't eat....I didn't sleep...or if I tried to I'd be plagued with nightmares...so I poured myself into Oracle. Every night I suffered at the bat's hand because it was my fault." There was no use hiding the truth that he'd eventually find out. She didn't meet his eyes.

He sighed in pain for her. He tilted her head towards him, his muddy eyes finding her pure sapphire ones. There was a pain in his eyes, a crushing torment of her pain.
He shook his head sadly, not wanting her to hurt anymore, and he would be having a word with Bruce...it wasn't Oracle's or Amelia's fault... If not for Oracle, he would have died alone, cold and never having a chance to say goodbye... He wouldn't have been able to say I love you.. to her one last time...The though sent a bullet into his heart....but Amelia was his heart, so....the bullet slammed into his chest... metaphorically... He felt a tear roll down his face as he gently looked into her eyes, the dark bags of sleepless nights under them....and all of it.....every last thing....was....his....fault....

Amelia cupped his cheek and her thumb brushed away the tear. When she saw the pain in his eyes it crushed her. She couldn't bare to see him like that. Her fingers caressed his cheek "I love you, and nothing you do or don't do can change that." she murmured gently. "It wasn't your fault, it was my choice." She stared into his eyes, "If it was anyone's fault it was my own."
