History: {Before he became the famous Iron Man we all know him as, Tony Stark was the CEO of his father's industry, titled Stark Industries, hence their last name. When his father died, Tony became the head of Stark Industries which was a weapons company at the time. While in Afghanistan to show off one of his many designs, one that only needed to be shot out once, the Jericho missile. However one of his own missiles was used against him and he was nearly killed by small shrapnel that came within inches of his heart. It was because of Yinsen, his assist when he was held in captivity for a group of people who wanted his Jericho missile, that he lived. It was also because of Yinsen that his mind was changed about his company. The arc reactor that sits in his chest is the only thing that keeps the shrapnel from entering his heart. }
