Personality:
{Amadeus Cho started the game out as a very angry, cocky, and lonely kid. After his family is killed in a massive explosion, he set off on his own with an unknown agency hot on his tail, only to be saved by the Hulk. This simple and very quick act of kindness had a massive effect on Cho; his hatred for SHIELD grows about tenfold, and he develops a quick and very deep loyalty to the Hulk. There’s two parts to Amadeus’ personality: the angry, suspicious and cocky kid before the journey, and the more confident, brave and understanding hero after.
It’s very easy to see why Amadeus is so angry in the beginning. Amadeus’ life has been catastrophically and irreversibly changed, and like most teens, he blames others, and takes actions to royally mess up their day. His main motivation in the beginning is revenge; he wants to hurt the people who hurt him, and nearly succeeds, before being talked down by his friend Hercules. It’s only after he learns the true conspiracy behind the Excello Soap Company that he realizes revenge isn’t the righty way, his own ‘purging of childish acts’ arc in his heroic journey. He realizes that revenge won’t bring back his family, nor will it solve any of his problems.
Amadeus unfortunately, is also very childish. He likes to make jokes at inappropriate times, he’ll refuse to help someone for no reason other than ‘I don’t like you’, and he often throws small fits of anger when he’s outsmarted. His temper can be quite mercurial. Fortunately for Amadeus, he can be a total ass and joke at villains because unless it’s the entirety of SHIELD of the Hulk, he probably has a way out.
Amadeus states that he doesn’t have many friends, and it’s easy enough to see why. Amadeus is very much a smart ass, his comments cut and for people who don’t know him well, they’d probably take it a little too serious. While his words can be hostile and brutal even to his closest of friends, he won’t abandon them. He stays with his (rather dubious) friends, refusing to stop even after the Hulk tells him to bugger off continuously. Amadeus isn’t the easiest friend to get along with, but he’s one of the best to have at your back. He wouldn’t be the friend you call to bail you out of jail, but the friend to call when you’re being set up in a phony trial.
He’s a good friend, but Amadeus also has a very manipulative side that comes out when he wants something done. He can be absolutely vicious when required. He says he gives his friends the benefit of the doubt, but once that benefit is lost, Amadeus is about as scornful as a woman shunned. He is vindictive and ruthless when he has to be, but he has learned that revenge is not the way to making himself feel better. Even so, he’s the kind of person you want on your side, because not only will he destroy your life, but bankrupt your cousin’s car dealership.
In a nutshell, Amadeus definitely a 21st century superhero. He twitters, he uses slang, and he often schools other peoples in popular culture. He’s independent, petty, and ultimately human.}
History:
{Amadeus Cho was not your average teenager, not even above average could define this extraordinary teen. After making history on an internet game show called "Brain Fight" he became known to the world as Mastermind Excello, teenage super-genius.
After his abilities were discovered, Pythagoras Dupree, the man behind the contest, had Amadeus' house blown up, killing his parents and leaving Amadeus on the run for his life, distrusting almost everyone he meets. Shortly after going on the run on his characteristic Vespa scooter.
Running away with his only companion being a coyote pup, Kirby, agents tracked him down but not before Amadeus ran into to another misunderstood genius with awesome power: the Hulk. After being saved from his pursuers by the Incredible Hulk, he considers the latter as a friend and strictly views him as heroic and reactive to the aggression of others. He gained a boost in his confidence and promised to find the unknown agency.
Amadeus' offers his help to Hulk who dismissed him but was forced to accept help due to General Ross creating collateral damage in his attack. S.H.I.E.L.D. eventually recruited him to help protect the non-evacuated civilians. He eventually met Rick Jones but didn't see eye-to-eye on the issue at hand. Amadeus met up with Scorpion to find and free the captured heroes. Seeing the way the heroes were being treated caused Amadeus to confront the Hulk alone.
Amadeus attempted to show Hulk that he wished to create a safe haven for him but was almost attacked. The Hulk left after hearing his thesis that his anger was what killed his loved ones and that Banner was what kept them loving him. With the Hulk gone, Amadeus became a prisoner of SHIELD.
During his imprisonment SHIELD decided that Amadeus's intelligence was going to be beneficial in moving the evacuated New Yorkers back to their homes. He declined believing that if he did they would eventually make him a tool for militaristic planning. Amadeus escaped and fed up with all that SHIELD has done took over a SHIELD vessel and uploaded a virus that would destroy all SHIELD tech. Amadeus then realized that if this was the path he was going to take he would be labeled as a villain for the rest of his life. He restored all SHIELD tech and continued on.}
