Calm Before the Storm (Stark's Party)

"And it is a pleasure of meeting you Bruce Wayne" he said. "I am Thor, God of Thunder and protector of Midgaurd" he introduced himself as he shook his hand. "Please, no more fighting my fellow midgaurdians, this is a celebration and if you both can't handle it, take it outside" he said with a soft smile on his face.

[Brooke Maria Hawkins]

Brook heard the ruckus and frowning slightly, she headed in the direction she heard it. She came to the scene just in time to see Steve's hand collide with the side of Haliey's face and a man she didn't really know punch Steve in the stomach. Alright, this wasn't good. Having seen enough, she approached the group her heels clicking softly against the floors. Once near the others, she opened her mouth to tell them to stop, but Thor had beaten her to it. She nodded when she heard Haliey say she'd live after Thor asked if they were ok.

[Hailey Heart]

She looked over to Thor, smiling lightly as she felt Bruce's arm tighten around her. She slid on arm around his waist, leaning her head on his chest. She noticed the music for the first time, and it was a song, she knew it. It was Falling for You She looked up at him, a small smile on her face. She glanced out at the terrace, and smiled lightly at him, trying to be happy after being hit in the face. She looked around the room slightly, not wanting to be the center of attention, like she and Bruce seemed to be.

[Amelia Raven Blake]

As the elevator came to a stop, she dusted off her shimmery maroon dress. Amelia entered just in time to see Steve's slap and Bruce's punch. She stared for a moment and watched as Thor stepped in, telling them to stop. She came up behind Bruce and murmured into his ear, "Hello Mr. Batty." A grin crept onto her face as she brushed a blonde strand of hair from her face.

[Clint Barton]

As others seemed to go and pair off he noted that there was still no sign of Natasha and there should have been by now he had to admit unless she had pulled another pointless shift so that she could avoid this which there was a chance of but he didn’t know if she would have been able to, if she had done he would have to have a talk with the Russian in why she sprung herself out of the god awful event yet she didn’t get him out of it and he would have to deal with the likes of Stark alone. He quickly went outside to attempt calling her, when there was no answer he returned to find Steve glance Hailey with a blow that had been intended for another man, he didn’t know who the other guy was but he was putting an end to this and fast.

Not many people would have thought it but Clint Barton was a gentle man and it was the emphasis on gentle he would never strike a woman, kill a female operative yes but a civilian or a friend he would not even think of laying one finger on. Stepping between the two he knew exactly where his guns where and he wasn’t afraid to pull one if it got worse.

“If you girls are done with your cat fight can we end this?” he said his tone didn’t broker any arguments “before someone throws a child out of a window to out dick either of you?”

Bruce felt the breath against his ear and a he was startled when the murmur of "Hello Mr. Batty." came across his ear. Startled he whipped around, thinking that he'd find a villain of some sort, but all he found was the smirking face of a girl with shoulder length blonde hair and azure eyes. For a moment he stared at her and then he exclaimed, "Amelia!? Amelia Smith!?" He stared at her for a moment before ruffling her hair. "By god, I didn't think I'd see you here!"

[Hailey Heart]

She was whipped around in Bruce's arms as he whipped around to face a woman. She looked up, her arms still wrapped around him. She looked to see Amelia, and smiled at her. "Hey Amelia..." She whispered, slightly dizzy from being whipped around. She held onto Bruce a little tighter, keeping herself on her feet.

"Hello Bruce Wayne." She smirks at his reaction that turns to a glare as his hand ruffles her hair. She steps back and runs a hand through her hair to straighten it. "Hey Hailey!" She shook her head, "You should be ashamed Mr. Wayne, you shouldn't whip woman around, it's not good for your reputation." She smirked at him.

Bruce gave Amelia a half glare and looked at Hailey. He mumbled a sheepish apology, looking down at the ground for a moment. "How do you two know each other?

Roxy was going to be late she could tell. She was just finishing the last touched of makeup then went to the closet and grabbed her dark blur dress and slipped it on fumbeling with the zipped but eventually got it. She put on her favorite jewelry that she uses for work and grabs her gun and straps it the in side of her leg. Sens grabs her cell phone and credit card and takes a taxi to Starks. She gets in the elevator and looks at her phone. Good so far so good I haven't does yet God I really hate party's but this is starks party so I'm gonna die. She steps out of the elevator and looks around noticeing the girls and some of the guys. She saw Hailey and Bruce and Amelia. She saw Captain with a bloody nose and Sam leaning over him. Damn did I miss a good figt Damn it. saw Clint look unrelaxed and walked over to him and got a better look he had guns she could see it because she was trained to. "Hello I'm Roxy Jones why are you so.... unrelaxed this is a party not a war zone so relax and have fun. She said with an honest tone in her voice and smileing up at him.

[Hailey Heart]

She smiled at Amelia. Then looking up at Bruce, said it was nothing and she was fine. She kept her arms wrapped around him for balance though. "Oh, we work together. She was actually the one who helped me save your life the night we met." She smiled at Amelia even more. "I never had a chance to thank you for that either. So, thank you, for helping me be able to save his life." She let her smile broaden and her head slip off of his chest, some of the dizziness leaving her.

Bruce looked at Amelia and smiled at her, "Didn't I always say that those powers of yours would come in handy?" He knew that he hadn't always said that, but he was hoping she would just agree with him and be a good friend...but of course he knew that Amelia would probably disagree just because that's how she was.

Claire was rushing out of her apartment knowing she was going to be late to Starks party. Her friend Roxy had invited her, she was the nubby at S.H.I.E.L.D. and she needed to talk to someone and had bumped into Roxy, they instantly became friends. She fumbled with her dark orange dress that was the color of the sunset. Eventually she got it and strapped her knife to her leg. She grabbed her cell phone and credit card. She took a taxi to Starks. She walked up to the elevator and pushed the right buttons. god i really hope that Roxy is here already. the elevator door opens and she looks around and see's Roxy instantly. She was talking to Clint or also known as Hawlkeye. She walked over to Roxy. "Hey Rox couldn't wait for me could you."

She heard someone walk up behind her and say couldn't wait for me could you. She turned around to face her redheaded friend. "No i did not ditch you i simply was rushing to get here and forgot." She said a little sarcastically with a smile on the face. I love to be sly. I hope she forgets about it soon or I will make her forget.

"Sure you did." She said with a smirk on her face. "I love your dress Roxy its really pretty. Do you want something to drink? I'm heading over there right now to meet Stark." I hope she doesn't need anything I need to get out of here and get back to my apartment.
