Babysitting .... " Hailey "

Oh dear god he changed his mind again .. Steve sure doesn't know what he wants but I'm happy for my sister but now i have broken hearted friend to take care . oh well its what i do .. hmm ..maaan i should have some beer with me .. no tequila though .. i might get my ass kicked then..

but seriously i don't know how to fix these things . its not like i can blink and then her heart will be fixed .. hell i cant even mend my own broken heart .. I'm so messed up after my childhood , i don't know what the hell love is , even less how love can leave you so broken..

Broden hated it when her thoughts popped up and made her mood even worse than it was before , she had dealt with her sister and her pain but Hailey's , she hadn't seen her so weak and fragile before and not to mention her habit of doing reckless stunts that would led to death for anyone else. Sam was always dramatic and sorrowful but she never managed to go so far that there was no return and she prayed to whatever god that was listening that Hailey wouldn't either.

she sighed softly and sat in the diner where Hailey was supposed to met her , seeing as she hadn't been at shield lately and she wondered where the girl was staying , she had herself spent her time traveling , living in different settings and only if she was lucky could she find a decent room or apartment, most of the time sh ended up in some simple shelter ,temple or abandoned buildings when she was out in europe especially.

[Hailey Heart]

Hailey hand her hands deep in the pockets of her faded blue jeans. Her lose red shirt that she had never entirely gotten the blood off of from that night on the roof. Both her shoulders and her side were still wrapped. Under her blue jeans was the white gauze wrappings on her leg, from Victor.
She sighed, she had been asked to a small diner by Broden, and being her friend she couldn't refuse. She had her hair down in her face, falling where it did naturally. What does she want to talk about? She sighed and saw the diner she was supposed to meet her at. She walked in and saw Broden at a table. She sighed and walked over, sliding into the booth across from her.

Broden smiled at first but it fell fast seeing her friend wounded like this . part of her wanted to hunt those bastards who did this and send a electric shock up their ass. She had been to the hairdressers today and got her hair colored and bleached, she was tired of being the sam clone for now and she hoped that maybe her little hair change could distract hailey from the pain and hurt if only for a little while.

She sighed heavily and wondered if she wore a dress , then maybe hailey would laugh once more.she hted seeing the few people she did care about hurting. "hey .. how are you feeeling .. and by the way im still upset that you would such a reckless thing , take on three guys at the same time with no back up .. you should have called me " she said softly and pouted " you could have died .. and then i wouldnt have my friend " she looked down at the table to hide her sad tearfilled eyes.

"im sorry about steve .. i love him like a annoying brother but sometimes i kinda wanna smack him repeatedly " she smirked and ordered some chocolate cheesecake for them both, nothing that a bit of cake couldnt cure.

She sighed as Broden scolded her, not sure she felt the need to be scolded, but she didn't let any of it show on her tired face.
She noticed her hair was a different color, and she felt the edges of her mouth turn up, ever so slightly. "You did you hair different." Her voice had changed, not the happy Nothing can stop me voice she had when she had first meet Broden. She couldn't describe how it was other then just plain broken. It fit though, because she felt broken.
She frowned as Broden mentioned the attack. "I didn't take them on alone. I was attacked. And you know I don't have a phone." She sighed, saying something similar to Steve that day. She sighed.
She didn't want to answer her question on how has she been because the answer was not one she wanted to share. She had stayed away from SHIELD and Fury was probably furious with her. [[all pun intended]] She sighed, thinking of SHIELD making her think of Steve and Sam.
"I don't know." She muttered in answer to the question. She didn't know. She was still crushed by Steve, but she had also been helped up by Bruce, and he hadn't let her fall yet. Thinking of Bruce turned the corners of her mouth up, only slightly. But she returned her attention back to Broden as she ordered the cakes. "I'll pay for those." She muttered.

Broden nodded and sighed "yeah .. ginger wasnt feeling so good anymore.. i like this though .. blonde and light . who knows it might make me more carefree .. if you believe those women mags." Broden lookat her as she sounded so weak and broken , it broke her heart over again to hear her friend so sad. "why would they attack you and who did .. i got a few sparks with their name on them, i was so damn worried about you and now im even more worried and i am gettin you a damn phone .. woman if not im gonna be grey haired before i reach my forties .. please come back to shield . i dont want you living in some shithole because of my sister and rogers .." she said softly and looked at hailey.

"we miss you , most of all i miss you .. " she looked at her and sighed softly , her dear friend looked so shattered, it was just so painful to see. "and no woman . my treat .im paying for it .. all of it .. i got enough money to spend " she would not take no for an answer.

[Hailey Heart]

She sighed, a little. "You look good blonde." She forced a smile onto her face, but she wasn't sure how it turned out.
She sighed, but had to smile a little as she said she had a spark for all of them. "Victor, the Raptor, Sullivain, The Destroyer, and Sinnestero, the Yellow Lantern." She told her their names, she still wanted revenge on Sinnestro, even after what Steve had done to her.
"I don't think I'll be coming back to SHIELD anytime soon." She muttered, sighing again. She tried to morph her face into a mask of her former self, to show Broden she was okay, but all she managed to do was raise the corners of her lips a little. "I bet you're the only one who misses me." She muttered, believing it to be true.

"thank you ..and i have to admit it myself .. i feel like im not just sam twin anymore .. im broden the lazy ass with some extra talents .. " she winked and smiled a bit " you know we should have girls night . chocolate , beer , candy and hunky movies .. like eyecandy festival " she tried to think of something that could cheer her up a bit.

Broden felt like growling when she heard their names, she wanted to kick their asses into oblivion for hurting her friends. "hmm .. know their names . now onto find their weaknesses .. looks like it hunting season for me " she grinned a bit as she thought of how good it would feel to harm those bastards for what they have done. " dont you worry hails .. ill get them back for this ..its one of the things im supossed to be good at . " she said softly and smiled a lazy smile.


Broden gasped and pouted, she didnt know what to do now , sure rogers was friendly and like a brother , she had sam but the rest of them , she didnt know well enough to care about , so without hailey shield would be so empty and lonely." i understand . i felt the same way long time ago..like i wanted to run and never stop running .. and trust me im not.. fury and all the others . we need you and you dont have to pretend with me .. its hurts like hell to see you this way but i dont want you faking happiness just to soothe me . " she put her hand ontop of haileys and licked her lips a bit. " you always got me .. hails , just know that and please dont go running off to some distant place . ill find you and drag you back " she said softly as a joke, but she would find her if she ran.

She nodded. "Girls night would be fun. I've never had one." She smirked, another thing she missed out on while wasting her life away fighting. She sighed, a small smile on her face, only slightly force.
She smirked. "That, I would like to help you with." She smiled, a light in her eye shining again, but it was only there in the need for vengeance. She was an Avenger, so she could seek revenge. She let the slightly mad smile slip from her face, and the light in her eyes dyed down again. She felt like a monster, only coming alive when she was angry, or had a reason to fight.
She sighed, not wanting Broden to hurt. "I'm not running." She lied, but then again she wasn't lying. She was staying with Bruce. So, technically she wasn't running, she was staying in one place. She sighed, not believing her about them all missing her. "I still don't believe you." She muttered sadly.

"yeah it would be .. but if you want to braid my hair then i am saying no .. there will be no braiding of this hair " she smiled and winked a bit. " you know .. i could cook you dinner too .. i hear im good at making a chicken dish .. invented it on my own though .. "

broden sighed and nodded "i know i would .. but i dont want you injured...its best if i do that on my own , besides i dont know how angry i will be when i do find them " she mumbled and looked down, scared that she might lose it completely and give into her anger.

She wasnt used to seeing hailey so ,hmmm eager to do some violence and part of her wasnt sure she would but the twinkle and smile on her face reminded her of how she looked whenever she tought of revenge on the old sickos."i m not used to seeing someone else than me like this " she mumbled out softly and ate some of her cheesecake and savored it.

"i hope not . youre the only female friend i have so far .. i mean .. youre not like the others , you didnt judge me for my ahm gifts and you arent a girly girl .. i like that ..and i miss seeing you at shield " she wasnt so veery good at this sharing caring thing. " and its true .. woman .. you brighen up that place .. and rogers .. well he lost out on a good thing .. "

[Hailey Heart]

She smiled slightly, remembering about the party before their missions were going to begin. She had asked Bruce and she smiled as she remembered him saying yes. She looked back to Broden. "We could go shopping for clothes for the SHIELD party." She smiled again, happier now then she had been.

She smirked. "It happens." She smiled, wanting to help her kick their asses. She smirked, and looked around, picking up her fork, and sliding a bite of the cheesecake into her mouth. "mmmhmm." She smiled.

She looked at Broden. Smiling slightly. "I'm going back to SHIELD for the party. I can meet you there." She smiled lightly, thinking of Bruce again. "I'm even going to do something I have never in my life, I'm going to wear a dress." She smiled at Broden, knowing she would wear one for Bruce.

"the shield party ? oh yeah at starks place .. ah i don't know if i should go .. i don't know .. i mean then i i would have to go shopping for some fancy clothes .. but i can go shopping with you for sure .. at least help you pick out something " she said softly and smiled a bit brighter as her friend seemed so much happier than before.

"yeah it does . i remember that look ..i used to see it everyday when i was younger " she said softly and ate some more " oh god . Danny outdid himself on these .. mhmm .. that's it , i am not leaving til I'm rolling out of here " she said softly and smiled a bit more brightly. "you like it ?"

Broden smiled and nodded " yeah sounds good . guess i could make an appearance at the party " she mumbled softly and smiled. She gasped and raised a brow as she said she was going to wear a dress."huh ? for real .. your wearing a dress .. but why ?" she asked curiously and sighed. why would she willingly put on a dress , they would have to force her into one if that was required.

[Hailey Heart]

She smiled as she said she would go. "Sure, I can help you look for a suit of something." She smiled, and took another small bite of the cake.

"It is so good!" She smiled, eating another forkful. She smiled, nodding in agreement with her. Sliding another bite into her mouth. It was her first time eating cheesecake and she was loving it so far.

"What look?" She raised an eyebrow. She shrugged it off, slipping her fork into her mouth again, chewing and swallowing the delicious cake.

She smiled as she said she would drop in. "We'll have fun." She smiled, and when she asked if she was going to wear a dress, she smiled a little more. "Yeah, I'm actually going to wear a dress, for real." She smiled, when she asked why she considered telling her about Bruce, but decided now wasn't a good time, not when they had been talking about Steve. "I figured it might be my last night, and I've never worn one before." She smiled again, knowing she was lying.

"that you can .. actually i would love it if you did .. im just happy that you are okay " broden smiled happily as she had been so worried about hails since she found out about the incident.

broden nodded and ate some more "yeah it is . danny is great at baking .. i swear i could live of his cakes " she smiled and sipped her latte and enjoyed this little bit of girltime.

"you kinda had a look earlier when we were talking about the douches that are getting a spark up their ass.. you reminded me of how i used to look whenever i thought about revenge.. its a long story though " she said softly and shrugged.

"yeah ..there will at least be food and drinks .. knowing stark`s reputation , im willing to bet this wont be a small get to together." she said softly and looked at her friend."a dress .. hmm well if you want to wear one then im sure you will look great in it "

[Hailey Heart]

She smiled kindly. "I'd love to help." She smiled taking another bite of the cheesecake. "Yeah, I was pulled from the edge, before I could jump." She said this lightly, trying to make it sound like a joke, when it had actually happened.

"I want you to tell Danny thank you for me!" She smiled, taking another bite. She picked up her black coffee and took a small sip, burning her lip slightly.

"Oh, that look." She smiled, knowing she had meant the revenge for Steve, but she didn't care anymore. She just wanted to woop their asses, and make them pay for hunting her. And Steve, but she was going to hunt them down, more for herself than for Steve now.

She smiled. "Good, more people, more places to hide when it's time to dance!" She smiled more, never having learned how to dance. She smiled, at the though of having to explain to Bruce why she wouldn't dance with him. But she knew he would get her out on the dance floor at some point. And she knew she would enjoy it, even if she was terrified to do it.

"Great .. cause honestly the sight of me in a dress would be awful , i think most people would be terrified " she said with a light tone and sighed softly and nibbled on her bottomlip, her nibbling turned to rough biting as she heard haileys joke. "Hailey .. that isnt funny ..... you have me so worried " she said softly and looked at him.

"oh i will ..Danny will be glad to hear that " she said with a smile and licked her lips a bit.Broden drank some more of her latte and looked around in the cafe and sighed softly. "ah .. yeah .. its a look well known to me " she said softly and shrugged it of. " so i guess we need to find you a dress .. hmm how bout a frilly pink one " she said as a joke.

"oh yes . the more people hide behind during the damned dancing .. i don like dancing at all .. " she said softly and pouted. "ah .. so what else is new ?" she asked softly and looked at her friend who seemed to have grown quite a bit on her in this short time, this woman had become like a second sister.
