Hailey was running, running from it all. From Steve's tear stricken face, Broden's angry eyes, and Sam's hurt tone. She was planning on requesting being refrozen, but wanted to clear her head first. Is that what I really want? She found her tree, where she had met Broden, but kept going. She kept walking, keeping a brisk pace, and not tiring one bit. She passed the bench where she had seen Steve, and the tree she had jumped into, which he had followed her. No.... She kept going, not wanting to stop, not anywhere she had a previous memory. She ran past the fire-station, but didn't stop, not yet. She found a large oak tree, and slumped to the ground, leaning on it. She pushed her hands to her face, and sat there, still holding back the tears. Soldiers don't cry...

Priestly was working at the fire station today, it was a good day ,not alot of fires happening today either. He went to grab something to drink and had a chat with some of the other firefighters there when he noticed someone running by the station, it caught Priestly`s attention at least so he had to walk out on the street to see who it was. He saw someone stopping by a tree, leaning against it. Priestly decided to walk over there and talk to the person check up on her as it was a girl. As he was closer to her and the tree Priestly looked at the girl "Hey..are you okey ?" Priestly asked her.

She looked up, a bit startled. A man was standing in front of her. She slid her head back into her hands, bu spread her fingers wide so she could see. "Yeah, I'm fine." She lied, sniffing a little. Blew it... She slid her head out of her hands and looked up at him; wondering why he cared, she was a random stranger to him. [/color]

Priestly looked at the girl as she was looking at him, but she was having her head in her hands and looked through her fingers as she had them spread. "Okey...i just wanted to check up on you since you seemed a bit upset " Priestly said to her and smiled some. "You want me to leave you alone ?"he asked her and looked more at the girl.

She smiled a little. She put her hands down, figuring who ever was kind enough to just check on her, deserved a little praise. "No, you can stick around. Just been having a horrible day." She sighed, and her hands flopped down into her lap.

She looked over at him, but then looked away again. "No, not really." She frowned slightly, but didn't say any more. A small bird caught her attention, and it was a red and white, very beautiful.

Priestly nodded slowly and smiled some "That`s okey" he said and looked at her and looked and saw the same bird as she did and smiled some more. "I`m Priestly by the way " he said to her.

She smiled, and looked at him, her head slightly clearer than it had been earlier. "That's a nice name." She smiled, even more so when he smiled at the bird. "I'm Hailey." She looked back to the bird, still slightly haunted by things from earlier.

He smiled back at her "Thanks " he said and looked at her before he looked back at the bird. "That`s a nice name too, and it`s nice to meet you Hailey" Priestly said to her and kept on smiling.

She smiled slightly. "Nice to meet you as well." She turned her head to look at him, her head starting to clear. She knew now she didn't want to be frozen again, Steve had picked her. But he obviously still loved Sam. She sighed, attempting to push those thoughts away. "Why'd you follow me?" She asked absently.
