As it was afternoon, Hunter went to a diner to grab something to eat,he was really starving. He looked at the menu boards to see what he could order,he smirked and knew what he wanted to eat. "I want a double cheese burger with extra cheese on it and all the veggies too, and a large choclate milkshake too " he said and smiled some. He took a seat on one of the stools in there as he waited for the food to get done. After a little while his order was ready. Hunter picked it up,payed for it and went to take a seat by a free table.
He smiled and took a nice large bite of the cheese burger and chewed it. "mmm i love this burger " he said to himself and continued to eat and sipped his milkshake as well. By the corner of the diner, Hunter had noticed a dark shade, he knew that it was a ghost ,but right now he didn`t want any contact with it so he just ignored it and kept on eating. Outside the rain had started to pour now. Hunter was glad he was inside at the moment.

It was pouring down outside and Scout was already drenching wet from it and she was so determined to have a nice large order of fries with some warm cheddar dip and bacon cheese burger.She pouted and looked up at the sky and muttered at it."stupid weather .. go home ..rain .. visit the desert or something " she pulled her jacket closer to her and shivered a bit.
Her frown turned to smile as she saw the diner and rushed inside with a bright happy smile "one bacon cheeseburger and a large order of fries with cheddar dip . oh and a large soda please " she smiled and looked around to see if she could spot anyone she knew. She smirked as she spotted her adopted brother Hunter or s she loved to call him Hunty. "Hunty .. hi " she waved at him while paying for the food and soda before grabbing the food with her.
She walked over to his table and sat down with him " ah food .. its so good .. " she looked at him and noticed him looking at a seemingly empty spot and knew he had some dead company." another one? " she asked softly in a whisper.

Hunter took more bites of his burger and heard a familiar nickname being called out, he turned and looked over and saw Scout, his best friend and adopted sister, by own decision. He smiled some "Hey scoutty " Hunter said back at her and ate some more. As she came over to his table and took a seat, hunter looked at her some more and smiled at her.
He just nodded at her question "Yes another one..won`t even let me eat in piece " hunter said to her and sighed, sipping his milkshake some. He looked over at the ghost as it was standing there still. "She`s just standing there, not saying anything now anyways " Hunter said to Scout. "So how are you Scout ?" he asked her and smiled.

"what are you doing here all alone ? you didn't invite me . i am offended Hunty " she said with a playful dramatic tone and pouted at him. She sighed softly and dipped a few of her fries into the warm cheddar dip and ate them quickly "mhm god i could live of these alone .. oh yes i could " she said softly and ate some more of them. "so do you have a date here tonight?" she asked softly and licked her lips a bit more.
Scout didn't understand how he could deal with those ghosts haunting his every damned moment it seemed. She would have gone crazy from it but she knew he had dealt with it in his own way but the first time he told her about his gift , well she didn't exactly sleep well for a a long time and she clung to her fathers side like a band-aid as she was so terrified that the ghosts were watching her too." so its just standing there and staring , all creepy and shit ?" she asked softly and looked at him.
"god that is so creepy and nah i am okay .. just being my usual nerdy self .. i got the new set of Sayuki .. you know that anime i watch and the new episode of 'Hellsing " she said with a big grin and licked her full lips before taking a bite of her burger.

Hunter looked at Scout and smiled some to her as she was being funny again. "Yeah i`m here all alone and i didn`t think about inviting you, sorry..and don`t be"he said to her and smiled as she took a seat and ate some herself. He shook his head as she was so crazy about that cheddar dip. Oh please..if you could marry cheddar dip you would" he said to her and ate some more of his burger.
He nodded at Scout. The ghost didn`t do much,except looking at Hunter. "It`s not that creepy..just a bit annoying when you want to eat " he said to her and smiled some at her.
"Yeah you think most of it is creepy,but they`re not here to do any harm" he said to her and smiled. Hunter nodded at her "Yeah i know that stuff,and good for you" he said to her and grinned. "So you got nothing romantic going on with anyone ?" he asked Scout and sipped his milkshake.

"mhm good and don't worry so much bro " she sighed and smirked a bit while licking her lips before grabbing some more fires and dunking them in the cheddar dip and chewing on them happily. "mhm its so good .. and one day i might just .. aaah nothing better than cheddar on your food " she had a small obsession with cheddar and especially the cheddar dip and she was not afraid to admit that.
"hmm .. but they are always there right . you cant do things in private if you catch my drift" she said softly and took another bite of the burger. she had no idea how he dealt with them , she would definitely not be able to do some of the personal things she needed to with a bunch of creepy ghosts staring at her.
"its only logical of me to find them creepy , its like a lot of stalkers you cant get rid of " she sighed and sipped her soda. " hey i have a right to be nerdy and yes i am not ashamed of being a nerd and dork" she pouted and huffed a bit. " oh yeah i got this thing going on with this really cool guy .. hes so cool he doesn't even exist " she muttered out and looked at him " you know damn well i don't exactly have the boys barging down my doors.. " scout looked around in the store and sighed heavily " and what about you . charmer ? you found someone or still pining over Sam .. the ginger one "

Hunter looked at her and smiled some to her"Yeah i knew you`d understand" he said to Scout and ate some more of his burger as it was so good. "Yeah hehe that wouldn`t be weird at all " he said to her with a teasing tone and sipped some milkshake. He looked up at her. "Well it doesn`t bother me that much anymore, i am used to having them around and i know when they are around too" Hunter said to her.
"I have even seen some your dead relatives and talked to them" she said to her and ate some more food. He looked at her some more "Yeah i know that you are white and nerdy ,you dork " he said and grinned at her. "Oh really,what kind of guy is that then ? he must be a comic book character" he said and sipped his milkshake some more.
"Is that your biggest concern in life, that boys ain`t running down your door ?" he asked her. "Mhm i`ve met someone who is pretty damn sweet and pretty " Hunter said to her and smiled and wrinkled his nose when she mentioned Sam`s name. "Oh and i was gonna say hi to you from dad" he said and smiled.

Scout sighed softly and ate more of her burger and looked at her adopted brother and wondered why he could be so annoying yet so dear to her, she was certain that would be one of life`s mysteries to her. "heeeey .. don't be a smart ass to me . i can still kick your butt " she teased and mumbled a bit. "but still .. it would be weird . you know to do your things and know they are watching, its so damn weird to think about. "
"relatives? oh okay .. who .. granny ? or older than that ?" she asked softly and curiously and looked at him before stuffing some more fries in her mouth."so what did they say . did they say they are ashamed of what i am ?" she asked softly and bit down on her full plush lower-lip. she sighed softly and drank some more of her soda and looked at him again. "your not any better.. i know about those Percy Jackson books and Vampire diaries books of yours under your bed " she said softly and smirked. She sighed and pouted a bit as he said something about this dream-guy of hers being a comic-book character "dude i don't only like charries from a comic book or anime , i just don't meet guys that are interesting and that i don't feel like i am in a family as well"
"no its not . i don't give a damn if i have guys interested in me or not .. I'm offended that you think that's what i care about " she said with a angry huff and grabbed together her things. " that's great .. and tell dad i said hi back " she said with a angry and annoyed tone of voice. as she shuffled her phone and stuff into her bag and was about to get up.

Hunter looked at Scout and smirked some "Well it would be pretty weird if that ever happened, and you know i`m just joking with you" he said to her and finished eating his burger and sipped some more of his milkshake and looked at her some more. He sighed softly and wiped his mouth with a napkin."Yeah..well i`ve been used to it since i was like a baby, and some of them are actually nice to talk with, especially those from another century" he said and smirked at her.
"Yeah relatives, like your grandfather..and he`s not ashamed of you, he just wished he could be around longer to know you " Hunter said to her and smiled some and watched her eating some more. He smirked and scuffed "I`m not ashamed about the books i read, those books are pretty great actually " he said to Scout and smiled some to her. "Okey then, but there has to be some interesting guys around that you like, but you just like older guys " he said to her and smirked some.
Hunter looked around a bit as he clearly had managed to piss off Scout with his comment. He sighed and looked at her. He watched her grabbing her stuff and was in a bad mood. Oh come on Scout , don`t be like that.." he said to her. He rolled his eyes.

Scout sighed softly and looked at her goofy adopted brother and laughed softly."hmm . it would be i guess" she shrugged and looked at her food and ate some more of it." i know ..and i wouldn't know about that .. " she said softly and looked at her soda before sipping it.
She wasn't sure how her ancestors would feel about her gift and the weirdness of it but she was happy that she had gotten better at controlling , last thing she need was to send out pheromones aimlessly and usually it didn't exactly lead to a lot of good. "i wish that too .can you tell him that if he cant hear me .. " she sighed heavily and chewed some fries that were almost covered in the cheddar dip. "your books , they aren't so bad . at least you're not reading fifty shades of grey like i caught jean doing " she said with a sigh.
"there is one guy but i know i cant have him because well he is hung up on someone else .. that's always the damn story " she said with a mutter and stuffed a few more fries in her mouth. "i cant help it that i like older men .. guys my age , well i don't exactly find them attractive with their groin grabbing and cheesy pick up lines "
Scout glared at him and tried to keep control of herself at the moment ,she did not need to be pissed off right now and the fact that he would say something like that hurt her more then any knife or bullet could."don't you roll your eyes at me . you just said all i worry about is finding someone that likes me .. well bite me Hunter .. because i worry about a lot more than that and just because you have an easy time finding someone that would kiss your pains away ,doesn't mean i have.. and it hurts me to know just how little you think of me , to be able of accuse me of that " she said with a heartbroken tone of voice and she only ever called him Hunter if she was really mad at him.
