Wearing a pink tank top, workout pants, and Nike sneakers, Kate Bishop walks inside of the gym of SHIELD with her bag over her shoulder. There’s no one else and just her, which she likes. Walking over to a bench she sits down and pulls out a stereo that’s able enough to fit her bag, then a CD player. Plugging the stereo near a wall, Kate puts in the CD as the stereo comes on. Once the top is closed, she presses the play button and the first song she hears is “Independent Woman” by Destiny’s Child. She smiles before getting up and going to the weights as she takes two of them. One by one, she raises a weight feeling her muscles move. This is what she loved doing everyday to keep her body in shape. Kate is beautiful, fit, buff and sexy as well…but she knows it.
Since coming to SHIELD and getting more training from Hawkeye for the arrows and all, Kate felt like she was on Cloud Nine. Even though she didn’t show it because she did not want to get cocky. Kate remained focused on her life, even having to go every Friday to her work place, helping animals, pets, the ones who get hurt everyday. Kate loved her career and would never regret it because it felt like she was the chosen one. Doing this was more exciting than some boring job like an accountant or even a professional sports player. From the weights, she sits down on a press bench, putting both weights on her feet. Then concentration carefully, she raised both feet up and down. Kate didn’t mind if others were here right now but they would be busy and so is she.

Bobbi Morse once a spy for S.H.I.E.L.D. now a Avenger named Mockingbird. Makes you wonder where someone would come up with a name like that doesn’t it? It was a simple answer she’s Mockingbird because that’s what she does she mocks her enemies get’s them angry you know that way they make mistakes which makes them easier to beat. But not all the time of course that’d be to easy when that doesn’t work she fell back onto her martial arts she was a monster in close combat so much so she’d rival Captain America you heard me a human woman could best Cap in hand to hand combat. But that was before she had been shot and left for dead it was bad enough the doctor’s couldn’t help her and she was going to die until Nick Fury showed up and gave her a formula that was a cross between the Infinity Formula and the Super Soldier Serum. It worked and now she was a cross between Fury and Cap when it came to powers kind of scary huh? The down side to all this awesome power was a high chance she’d out live all her friends and family that was the price she’d have to learn to live with not like she could do anything about it.
Even with all her awesomeness she was still farsighted and needed her glasses which adjusted as she walked into the gym before wincing at the music did it really need to be that loud? Walking over to the stereo she bent over and it the off button and silence filled the room before she turned to look over at Kate a smirk appeared on her face “Working out is all well and good so is shooting arrows but how well are you at hand to hand combat? Expect your bow to save your ass all the time it doesn’t work like that. So why don’t you come and show me what you can do unless your scared of course?” she walked over to the area they used for hand to hand combat to wait and see if Kate would follow or not.

Kate continued working out and exercising before she heard the music shut off. Kate turned around before looking at some blonde and Kate knew who that was. The woman they call Bobbie Morse, better known as Mockingbird. Kate read some files on her including some of the assignments she’s been on. Even though she shouldn’t have turned off the music, it wasn’t THAT loud but hey, this is Mockingbird were talking about. “Well well well, Mockingbird I presume? Nice meeting you”, Kate said as she walked to where Kate was. In other words, she accepted Bobbi’s challenge. The Knightress could not take this one for granted and not get too cocky, it would cost her. Before Kate begin, she closed her eyes for a bit, taking a breather and getting herself focused.
Opening the eyes, Kate looked at Bobbi dead in the eyes. “The names Kate…Kate Bishop” she introduced and before you knew it, she started hitting punches at Bobbie before jumping up hitting a dropkick on her. Kate didn’t stop there, she went for Kate’s arm for an arm bar with her wrist, applying the pressure on Mockingbird. Growing up Kate learned marital arts, wresting and different fighting styles and now she gets to prove herself to Bobbi. It wouldn’t hurt to get some pointers and tips on how to be better.
