Amelia breathed in, and let out a shuddering breath. She vaguely heard Nick call for help. And then tell her that he wasn't going to leave her. Pain came through her and she cried out. She squeezed his hand as the pain racked her body once more. Nick... she coughed, am I going to die?

Now it's Amelia fighting for her life. Suddenly medics and health came to her aid, taking Amelia to the room as Nick waited outside to see her

Okay Nick...I'll do it, for you, she sighed slightly and coughed as the medics took her away into another room. She didn't know why she should fight, Steve hated her...the only man she had ever loved. She closed her eyes and sighed. She didn't know why she should as these futuristic visions killed her inside and most of her want to live. She swallowed and pushed back the tears. She didn't look at anyone, she didn't want to.

Fury waited and waited until someone from the room came out and explained to her that Amelia will be alright. That was a good sign for Nick, knowing he couldn't loose another agent or someone close to him. He didn't know why Amelia was imagining all those horrible things. It's not good for her and she'll just make things worse. Was it someone else that hated Amelia? If so who? Steve Rogers? He hoped not. How could anyone not hate this beautiful woman. She's one of the very best.
Fury walked into the room and sat beside her. "Doctors told me you're going to make a recovery" he said with a smile. "I knew you wouldn't give up" Fury said still with a smile.

Amelia glanced at him, But I wanted to...give up... She looked away, she didn't want to see his face. She sniffed slightly and said softly, Nick, do you understand? These visions are the worst of what could be. Nick, I can see bits of the future, but in the worst ways. It's horrible, she choked slightly, trying hard not to cry.
She didn't want to have this power. She didn't want to be who she was. She didn't want to live this life anymore. She hated to ruin Nick's good mood, but she didn't have any happiness in her at the moment even though she hated to crush Nick's. She swallowed slightly and sniffed again.

“Oh now stop it” Furry said with a frown on his face. “These visions that you’re having is just visions, nothing of the real world. What you saw won’t happen because our avengers will give Loki and our enemies a run for there money, they don’t stand a chance against us too, meaning SHIELD” he said. It was disappointing for Nick to hear the stuff coming out of her mouth. Amelia’s such a bright girl and to hear what she’s talking about is just nonsense. “Amelia listen….forget about what you see and focus on the battle at hand, ok?” he said and asked as he held her hand, giving it a soft squeeze.

Amelia gulped, I don't want this power, I don't want to see the future. I just want to be normal. She stared at him, eyes welling with tears, How can I forget when those visions haunt my dreams? Nick, do you understand? This is what could happen. She shook her head and went on softly, You didn't see what I saw. You couldn't feel what I felt. It was horrible.
She hated seeing that frown on his face and to think that she put it there killed her. She didn't want this burden, as she'd told him. She just wanted to be normal. And she wanted Steve to see her. And on top of my visions...I think I'm in love with Steve...but he doesn't see as anything more then a foolish girl. I would die for him, Nick, and he doesn't seem to care.

"Things may not turn the way you want it to be Amelia but whatever happens, move on in your life and live it to the fullest" he said to Amelia as he took her hand, giving it a soft squeeze. "You are strong and can deal with this on your own, whatever is going on between you and Steve Rogers. Love can be complicated with feelings and such" Nick told her and it's true. He never met a woman but knows it takea a long time to find love.
"As for these visions, I am thinking. Have you ever heard of the X-Men?" he said and asked. "There's this place called The Xavier Institute for the young and gifted. Charles Xavier is the headmaster and a teacher. I am not an expert at this but he alongside other teachers are experts at the powers you have" Nick explained to Amelia. "I'll get you the contact and information, the whole nine yards. Form what I hear, they are good at what they do" Fury said. "You'll be alright, just hang in there and keep moving forward" Fury told her

Amelia nodded slightly when he spoke of her love for Steve. Yeah I guess you're right... Then when he told her about the X-Men she threw her arms around her neck, crying slightly. Thank you...thank you Nick, thank you so much. I want to control this but I want to get rid of it at the same time. Can they help me? She questioned.

"Yes, they can help you" I said. "I've know Charles Xavier for years and he has powers which he uses for the good. The others are a team of Xmen but they do teach other students how to control and get rid of there powers too. Charles and the rest will take you in just like that, and your'e good to go" he told her and smiled. "You're gonna get through this but for now focus on your health and getting back on speed soldier. We clear on that?" I said and asked.

She gestured toward the window, trying to be her normal self. What am i supposed to do? I can't look out the window, I see roads and...and more roads...I'd rather be in my own room. Nick chuckled a bit. "You'll survie Amelia, it ain't the end ya know" he told her as he smiled. Amelia always cheered people up with her sarcasm and jokes. "I'll assign a guard outside the room. You focus on getting well and better. I'll stop by later for another visit, giving you the info of the X-Men" Fury said as he stood up and kissed Amelia's forehead. "Take care friend" Fury said as he waved at Amelia and left, knowing she's in good hands. Today may not be the best day for Nick but at least nothing else damaging happend.

Sinestro swore as his suit became blotched with yellow and the green slipped away. He gave up and let all the yellow seep back into the suit. His ring flickered and he channeled all his energy toward it so it grew bright. He stood and hovered for a moment. Then he let his feet touch the floor as he paced the room.
He needed to get out of this cage. But how? That was the only question that remained in his head. How to get out of here? It wasn't as though he could just politely ask that Fury guy to let him out, that would never work. What about the girl...? Would she help him if he did the right things. He thought about it, what could he do to convince her to let him out? The thought made him giddy with excitement but he pushed it away and sat back down, wheels turning in his head.

Once Fury left Amelia's room, he headed back to the control where everyone else is at. He knew Amelia can get through this and Professor Xavier is the right person to go to. He knew Charles and he's a good man who knew powers like this unlike Fury did. As he went inside and walked up to his post, he looked at the screens and still saw Sinestro, trying to escape. Fury shook his head and chuckled a bit. Idiots like the yellow shinny lantern didn't understand SHIELD, heck, they probably didnt' do there research before coming here.
Then out of the corner of his eye, the one that isn't patched up, the yellow lantern started to power up and light up too. Fury didn't expect this man to back down or just be a quitter. If anyone could do this it's The Green Lanterns, the opposite of the yellow ones. Fury didn't know how to contact them so it would just take hard work and time. But time....it wasn't on there side at this point. With Loki in there custody and now Sinestro, what can happen next? The Avengers and other SHIELD agents need to take care of this and fast.
