Jane || It's You That I Love

Thor was sitting outside of his penthouse home in Stark Towers, looking over the beautiful city of New York. It was this city that he and The Avengers saved along the entire world from his brother Loki, one day he could never forget. Life for the Asguardian has been good since the battle of Manhattan ended. He’s spending more time with his lover Jane Foster, the woman who captured Thor’s heart and shown him around Midguard the first day Thor came. When he came back to Asguard, he could not stop thinking about her and that’s when he knew they would be soul mates for life.

He went back inside his penthouse and straight to the kitchen. Food was ready to be served as Thor took it out with gloves on his hand. Jane was coming over to spend the night with him and Thor could not be excited. Getting out the plates and everything, he took them to the dining room and set up before Jane arrived. Just as he was about to finish, Thor heard the doorbell as he walked over to get it. Opening it, Thor saw Jane as he smiled. “Hello Jane, it’s good to see you” he said as he kissed her softly. “Come in my love”

Jane Foster wrapped up her work before she rushed home to her apartment in New York. She was meeting Thor, her handsome and fearless boyfriend. She smiled at the thought of him while driving. As she got to her place,she went inside and showered ,changed into a dress and a pair of high heels, her hair down. She smiled at herself in the mirror before she was ready to go. She drove to the Stark Towers where Thor lived. She took the elevator up to his floor,walked over to his door and rang the doorbell.

Jane smiled as Thor finally opened the door. "Hey yourself handsome,it`s good to see you too" she said before kissing him softly back. "Thanks " Jane said and walked inside. "Mmm it smells good in here, have you been cooking ?" she asked and looked up at him smiling.

"Yes I have Jane, it's nothing big or anything but it's good I promise you that" he told her as Jane came inside with Thor closing the door behind. Since coming to Midguard, Thor knew little on everything, even on how to cook but with help from one of Tony's 'friends', he got the hang of it. It was something he wanted to do on special nights like this with Jane, even though he prefered the food from Asguard. It was the best and not even Midgaurd could match up to it but Thor got used to Midguard's food..

"If you follow me lady Jane to the dining room, that's where the festivites will begin" he told her as he motioned her to follow him to the dining room. Once they got there...candlelights, roses, two plates of dinner, and two glasses of wine as Thor looked at Jane. "This right here is all for us" he told his lover, looking at the woman he cared about. "This is for you too Jane....I love you" he said, kissing her lips that was so sweet, you couldn't even break it off. "We should eat. We don't want dinner to be cold"

Jane looked up at Thor smiling brightly she said to him and kept smiling. Jane knew that Thor wasn`t used to the way they lived here,but he was learning and she was happy that he did. She looked at Thor again and smiled.

She nodded and followed Thor to the diningroom where he had prepared and served the food. Jane was excited about this evening with Thor. As they entered the diningroom Jane stopped and looked around at the romantic setting. She was in awe at the sight of it ,"Oh Thor..it`s so beautiful...you did this for me.." Jane said and smiled,turning to Thor and returning his kisses. She didn`t want to break the kiss off,but they had to.

Jane looked at the amazing man who made her heart beat faster ,"No one has ever done this for me before ,and yeah we should eat before it gets cold " Jane said and looked at him.

Thor and Jane both sat down at the table as the god of thunder raised his glass. “I would like to make this toast to you Jane. You’ve helped me see life in Midguard of something I can learn and study. If I didn’t see you at all…then I would feel like I would of wasted my time but I am grateful of your presence” he said to her as the two of them clinked their glasses before the two of them starting eating. “We’ll be having Cesar salad with fresh cut chicken of ranch sweet dressing along with vegetables. And then after dinner we can have dessert….if you like” he said and hinting at the end of his words with a wink.

Thos never experienced love in Asguard because none of the woman could ever match up to him. Sif was someone he would always love but she was just a friend and a noble warrior to fight alongside. He could admit that coming to Midgaurd was just a way for his father Odin to test him but that wasn’t the case. It’s what Thor needed and to survive. He and Jane were soul mates and Thor would take on anyone that came after her, even if it was his brother Loki. “So, how’s everything and everyone Jane?” he asked his girlfriend before taking a bite of cesar salad.

Jane smiled looking at Thor, raising her glass with him hearing his toast. She smiled brighter hearing his sweet words. "thank you so much Thor , and i`m so glad that we met..you make my life so much better" she said to him. Their glasses clinked together and Jane took a quick sip of the drink. Jane looked at the food and couldn`t wait to start eating it. "Mmm it looks delicious Thor,and i`m all for dessert later " she said and smiled at him and winked back at him. Jane took a bite of the cesar salad and enjoyed it.

Jane was so happy to have Thor in her life. It was very interesting the first time they met. Jane had no idea at first where he`d come from ,but with some help from her friend Erik Selvig who knew about the gods, she realized that Thor was the god of thunder. She had been very smitten by him from the first moment she had seen him. But now she loved him more than anything. Jane looked up at Thor when asked how everyone was doing.

"Everyone`s good " Jane said and smiled to Thor. She took another bite of the salad. "Have your heard from your friends lately ?" she asked him.

“You mean The Avengers? “, he asked Jane. “I see them from time to time. I’ve also been visiting Asgaurd to see how my father is doing. You know, he getting’s older but don’t let that fool him, he is a warrior” he said as Thor chuckled and shook his head before eating another piece of food. He didn’t have the chance to tell Odin about his relationship with Jane. He knew his father would do anything to make Thor proud, Thor just wished that Odin would not cross the line if he disapproved. Odin has his reasons but Thor felt happy with Jane. “So have you been doing anything lately? Any new discoveries in your work?” he asked Jane.

Jane nodded and looked at Thor. She listened to him, "That`s good..and how is your father doing except getting older ? " she asked and smiled some. Jane grabbed her glass of wine and sipped some of it. She put the glass down again on the table and grabbed another bite of the salad. She looked at Thor as he asked her another question. "It`s been good too..just looking at the stars and the planets to see if anything new is happening to them" Jane said and smiled softly to him.

"Sounds interesting. In all my time, whenever I would leave Agaurd and go through into Midguard I see the stars and other planets. It's an amazing view" he told Jane before taking a bite of food. As he traveled, he thought of Jane and Midgaurd to see how they were doing. She made a comment about Odin and Thor chuckled a bit. His father was not a quitter or a coward and Thor became inspired and motivated by his fight.

"I was thinking Jane...maybe one day I could take you on a tour of Asguard" he offered to her. "But if I did then you would have to wear Asguardian clothing. It's more of a tradition when bringing people to Asgaurd" he told her. Though he would have to get Odin's approval and he was sure that his father would not mind. Though Thor would protect Jane from anyone, even if it was an Asguardian. Some people in his realm did not like Midguards because they hated them. "What do you think Jane? Would you be up for it?" he asked her.

Jane looked at Thor and listened interested. She smiled and thought he was very lucky to be able to see the stars and the planet, something she wished she could do as well. She ate some more of the salad and enjoyed it.

She looked at him again as he started to speak and her eyes got wider as she heard his offer. "That..would be so awesome !" Jane said and smiled wider at him. Her,going to Asguard with Thor would be the best thing ever. She listened more to him. "Oh yeah of course, i mean i would wear anything for you to go there " she said and couldn`t stop smiling at this. She wanted to go to Asguard and see where he came from and how he had grown up, and to meet his father and his friends there.

"So when are we going there ?" Jane asked and looked at Thor.

"I'm not sure Jane but we'll go there one day together and I hope you will like it" Thor told her. The Asguardian's did not like the Midguardians because of how the way they treated each other, and Thor did not like it the first time around. But when Jane showed him the rest of the mortals, and all of the things that he started to like, Thor started to see Midguard as a second home. His girlfriend was the one who made him feel like he could do anything in both realms. It was only a matter of time before the two of them could take things to the next level.

The two of them finish dinner as Thor looked at Jane. "So what would you like to have for dessert Jane?" he asked her as Thor looked at Jane, sitting back in his chair and he looked into her eyes.
