Through the rising and falling apart We discover who we are
Mikayla exited the Danger Room with minimal cuts and bruises, a grin on her face as she bid Logan and Scott goodbye. The two often gotten into bickers during class and was actually quite entertaining to watch. To tell the truth, Twister was in a good mood despite the events that had fallen over her. A man whom called himself the Recruiter had brought it to her realization that he was taking her into his clutches. She would have to do everything he said.
If she didn't he'd kill her family, her family being the X-Men and of course her own parents whom she'd left nearly three years ago.
She was walking down the hall of the great mansion when her walk was ended when she rounded the corner and smacked right into someone. She stumbled backwards, loosing grip on the book she was in the middle of reading, and grabbed the wall to keep her clumsy self from falling flat on her face. "Oh! I'm sorry!" She exclaimed when she recovered.

Hunter was walking in his own little world in the hall, it wasn`t much to do today except talking to the other x-men and training some on his abilities ,but besides that nothing else didn`t happen. He sighed and was about to round the corner when someone smacked into him. He looked down at the book who fell on the floor before he looked at the person.
He smiled some "It`s alright.." he said to her and smiled some more. He looked at Mikayla. "Are you okey ?" he asked her and looked at her. Hunter grabbed the book from the floor and looked at it fast ."Here " he said to her as he handed it over and smiled softly.
Hunter had gotten to know Mikayla through classes they had have together.

Mikayla looked up at Hunter as he handed her back her book. She gave him a smile as she brushed the small strand of her brown hair from her face. She took the bobby pin from her hair and repinned it so that annoying strand would stay in. "I'm alright, thanks Hunter. Are you?" She smiled at him softly. She didn't know much about Hunter just what his powers were and that he was a pretty nice kid. While he always seemed to be on time for class Mikayla always found herself slinking in late.
Twister gently met his eyes and she smiled, a small flash of white behind the lip stick of dark pink. "How are you today?" She asked with a grin.

Hunter smiled at Mikayla as he had handed back her book to her. He looked at her as she repinned her hair to keep any strand of her brown hair away from her face. He smiled a bit"Yeah i`m all good " Hunter said to her and ran a hand through his hair and felt relaxed. As their eyes met ,he had to smile as well back at her.
"I`m feeling pretty good today, classes were not so bad " he said to her and looked at her."And how are you today then Mikayla?" Hunter asked softly and looked at her. Hunter liked Mikayla ,he thought she was an interesting girl.

She gave a smile. "That's a good thing," she told him with that small smile that lit up her eyes. She nodded to his comment about classes going well. "Pretty well, had a fun time in the danger room...Logan was in charge." She chuckled softly, everyone knew that when Logan was in charge at the Danger Room it was bound to get interesting.
She looked into his eyes, admiring their color. She had always liked looking into other's eyes and pitied Scott since he could not because of his power.

Hunter looked at Mikayla and smiled some and nodded as well. "That`s good..and i do like being in Logan`s classes " he said to her and smiled. Hunter liked being in the danger room. "So what are you gonna do now, read in that book ?" he asked her and looked at her.
He looked into Mikayla`s dark eyes. She was a pretty girl,but Hunter knew he wouldn`t stand a chance with her at all. He was sure he was just in the friend zone like most of the time.

She laughed and nodded. "I love being in Logan's class. He's a great teacher but he's...well he's Logan." She smirked and nodded. "Yeah I've been reading this book forever and i think I'll finally finish it."
Mikayla then asked Hunter what he was planning on doing now. She had always kind of liked him, but she didn't think she had a chanc not when Annabell was in the picture. She knew that her friend also seemed to like Hunter Evans.

Hunter smiled and looked at her,"Logan`s classes are at least interesting and he makes me wanna pay attention and not fall asleep.." he said and grinned a bit. He looked down at the book she was holding."Is the book any good ? " Hunter asked Mikayla and looked back into her eyes again.
He looked at her as she asked what he was gonna do now. Hunter sighed softly and smiled some. "Right now i hadn`t planned on doing so much..so if you want we could hang out and do something together if you`re not busy ?" he asked her and smiled.

She smiled at him and nodded, agreeing to his words on the subject of Logan's classes. They were quite enjoyable and often caused Mikayla to have a good laugh. After the whole Scott and Logan scene during class, the two teachers had been marvelous when working side by side, sure they still got into little bickers now and then and often threw smirks and rude comments at each other but they seemed to have fallen into a sort of odd friendship. But of course that's only what Mikayla thought of the situation and couldn't be sure if they were only doing that for the sake of the students.
She nodded once more, "Yes actually, it's a brilliant book, I just haven't had much time to read it and I really would like to put a dent in it. But I think I can put it aside to hangout with a friend." She smiled at him, her teeth flashing into a white half smile, her eyes brightening.

Hunter smiled at Mikayla as they were still standing by the lockers. "Hmm maybe i need to borrow that book from you sometime when you`re done reading it" he said smiling at her. "Great..so lets grab something to eat and talk " he suggested walking slowly next to her down the hall.
Hunter was glad that he had made friends with Mikayla, she was always so nice and sweet and her smile could light up a room when she walked into one. He looked at Mikayla ,she was so beautiful too. Hunter remembered the first time he had seen Mikayla , he hadn`t been able to speak to her at first,but after they were paired together for an assignment ,it broke the ice and he could speak to her.
