Scott Summers stood at the head of the class. Today's lesson was keeping patience and control over your powers. An odd lesson for someone who still couldn't switch his power off.
He was wearing a white polo shirt, and navy blue slacks. He always dressed like this when he was teaching. He didn't remember if it was required or not, but he liked to keep it official. His polo was tucked in and his black leather belt fit snugly around his waist. He was also wearing shining, buffed, dress shoes. He had always laughed at his routine for getting ready for class, but he didn't mind it at all. The only thing that he wore every day was the specially made glasses. The black frame with the red reflective lenses.
He sighed and looked at the student who was causing a scene. "No...you can't just use your powers to get what you want. This should be something you should already know..." Scott said in a patient tone. He was always gentle with his students, no matter what.
This particular student was always a problem. He always tested Scott's patience, bu he had never succeeded in making him lose his cool composure. Though, this student, Damon, had tried so hard to make him shoot off in anger. Scott sighed inwardly...

Logan was leaning against the wall watching Scott deal with the kid. He didn't know why he had to be here. He didn't understand why Xavier had pushed him into the same class room with Scott Summers. The two hated each other since their love interests were the same - Jean Grey. At the moment Logan was pretty sure he hated Xavier.
His hand itched to reach for the last cigar laying in his pocket but he couldn't do that. No matter how angry he was with Xavier he wouldn't disobey him and smoke in front of the students - something Xavier had personally told him not to do. Logan respected Xavier and he wasn't going to disobey him over something so little and stupid.
He sighed and flexed his hands, they hurt from his run in with a Brotherhood member a day or so ago. He hadn't told anyone about it although he was pretty sure Charles already knew since he had sent out a few of the X-Men to figure out what was going on.

Scott sighed as he watched the student. He couldn't quite remember the boy's powers. But, he knew this kid was a bad egg, so to speak. There was a lot of good students in this glass though, Annabell and Mikayla were great students, always wanting to learn.
A paper airplane drifted across the class. Scott calmly lifted his fingers to his glasses and lifted them. A red ray shot fourth, incinerating the plane and he let his glasses drop again. His lips twitched faintly into a smile, and he looked at the glass. Some had their jaws gaping, he rarely used his powers in class. Though, sometimes he wanted to get his point across...

I must confess I feel like a MONSTER Logan arched a brow at Scott's actions. The man rarely used powers, let alone during class. The thought didn't cross his mind that perhaps the other teacher was just trying to prove his point, instead Wolverine's mind went straight to: "Tryin' to show off your powers, ay, Scott?" Logan's first mistake of the day and it was only eight-thirty.
He regarded Scott with a smirk, curving his lips at that lit up the eyes of piercing blue, circular and watching Scott with the same smirk that kept his lips curled. Again his hand itched to grab the cigar, but he wasn't going to. Not yet at least. Perhaps he'd do it later to wire Scott up then maybe - just maybe - he'd get switched and would no loner have to teach with Cyclops.

Scott had almost forgotten Logan was in the class.
Almost.
He turned his head to look back at his teammate and teaching partner. He never enjoyed having him in the back of his class. He was annoying, and never helped with the class. Ever. He only ever made it worse, harder to control.
It always set his blood to boil when Logan accused him of using his powers to show off. "No, I wasn't. I was simply proving a point." He said in a calm tone, though he knew Logan knew things like that made him mad.

I must confess I feel like a MONSTER
Logan chuckled, "My question is why are you teaching a class on how to control their powers when you can't even control your own?" He knew that he probably shouldn't said that, but he wasn't really thinking at the moment, the only though in his head was his want to get away from Scott's classroom. (ugh shortness)

He flexed his fists for a moment, letting what he could get of the anger to go away. Buy, he couldn't get much of it to go away.
He turned to look. "At least I won't flay a student." He said simply, returning his attention back to the class, but it was obvious that he was angry.[/center

Logan smirked and shot back, "At least I won' fry a student." To tell the truth, Wolverine was rather enjoying himself. He had to admit making Summers's life a living hell was quite enjoyable, espiecally Logan, considering he was the one doing the whole "making Summers's life a living hell" part. He leaned back, quite nonchalantly, crossing his arms and flashing a typical Logan Howlett smirk.

Scott calmly turned back to face him. "I will do no such thing." He knew Logan was doing everything he could to get under his skin. And sadly, he knew it was working.
He continued to clench and unclench his fists. All he wanted was to get through the lesson without a problem, but he knew, he knew it now, there would be a problem..and it wouldn't be pretty.
