The Lonely Dark Night

It was another boring and dark night in Manhattan and Broden of course was looking for something to eat and drink. She sighed heavily as she walked down the streets without any bigger concerns about what could happen to her on this dark and gloomy looking night.

"God I need a good steak and maybe a nice old cold beer " she mumbled out to herself as she walked past a dark alley, she fumbled around in her bag as she wanted a nice little cigar to soothe herself a bit and so far all the crap in her bag was making it hard to find her box of cigars. "Damn it .. where the hell is it ?" she growled out and stopped by a building and began to look for it more closely.

" oh yes baby .. here you are " she said softly and grabbed a cigar and lit it up before taking a nice deep inhale of it. She exhaled the smoke and watched the smoke fly away in the dark night " i love that " she said softly and smiled a bit. She sighed and thought back on her past and on Ames, who was the one person she had ever felt anything close to love for.

As the dark night had settled in Manhattan, Ames was out walking in the streets. He had been dealing with some buisness with a couple of guys he knew. As he walked down the street,he decided to go and get something to drink. It had been a few days now since he had met Broden in that bar. It was good to see her again, and at least show her the feelings he had kept hidden away from her. Every night he did worry about her and hoped that she was okey. Since he was dealing with some more shady buisness here in Manhattan, he wanted to keep Broden out of it since he didn`t want it to become one of her problems.

Ames sighed and walked in a fast pace. As he was passing by a dark alley ,looking fast over there ,seeing a girl standing there as well. He slowed down the pace before he stopped completely and looked at her. As he looked closer at the girl he could see that it was broden standing there all by herself smoking a cigar. He scuffed and smiled a bit. He just wondered why she would be standing here all alone.

As he looked at her some more, Ames decided to join her. He climbed over the tall lattice fence and landed on his feet steadily and walked towards her. "Are you gonna smoke all of that by yourself..?" he asked her ,with his deep british whiskey voice.

The cigar felt so good when she inhaled and exhaled it as she stood by the wall of some old looking building.She was still surprised that she had met Ames just a few days ago but she was very happy to have seen him again. She couldn't help but to smile as she thought back to him and how he confessed to caring about her. She didn't know how he had found his way inside her heart that she tried so hard to harden and shut down but somehow he had weaseled his way inside and left a mark on her heart.

She sighed softly and looked up at the sky " i miss seeing the stars .. so bright and clear " she said softly to herself before taking another inhale of her cigar. She raised a brow seeing a figure move closer to her and not a small one either. She had to wonder who would be insane enough for that , if it was a mugger or something`?. She smirked as she would show no mercy though , if someone tried to mug her then the would be at the end of a good old electric spark but she was surprised to see no one other than the man who haunted her dreams so long.

She smiled and looked at him, her hazel eyes locked onto his blue grey ones. " hello there handsome " she said with a soft smile on her lips."i was planning that yes .. but if you ask me nicely i might share " she winked at him and exhaled the smoke in little clouds of smoke. She wondered why he had to be so damn handsome and sweet , so beautiful that his face haunts her dreams with agonizing wants and needs for him.

As Ames came up to her, he smiled and their eyes had met instantly. "Hey yourself pretty girl " he said and smiled more to her before he stopped only a few inches away from her, taking in the scent of the cigar smoke. "May i please get a cigar ?" Ames asked her and grinned. He had missed her these few days they haven`t seen eachother. He looked around a bit in the dark alley. "So what are you doing here all alone Broden ?" he asked her and licked his lips.

He leaned against the dark wall behind him and looked at Broden. She was so beautiful standing there. He wondered what she was up to tonight. Yes Ames was longing for her,he wanted to be close to Broden. But his job didn`t make it easy for him to get the time to spend some time with her.

Broden smiled brightly as he was the only to call her sweet names ,like pretty girl or darling. She normally wouldn't have let him but this was not any man ,it was Ames with eyes that drew you in deeper and deeper til you were lost in them.he was so close to her and all she wanted to do was to wrap her arms around him and kiss those hypnotizing lips of his. "hmm .. yes you may .its never fun smoking alone " she said softly and offered a cigar to him. "what I'm doing .. well I'm hungry ,thirsty and bored so i thought id grab some food and beer and i am capable of taking care of myself "

God what she wouldn't give to be his , to feel the sweetness of his love but she just had a hard time voicing her desires to him, he always made her feel like a little girl."what might you be up to then , roaming the city on this dark night ? looking for a damsel in distress ?" she said softly and tried to not stare at him.

Ames stood there before her, looking into her eyes still. He didn`t look away yet ,but as she started speaking he blinked and looked around some. He smiled as Broden offered him a cigar,"Thank you love" he said and grabbed onto the cigar and lit it, He inhaled the smoke and exhaled it slowly after a little while, looking at her. "Okey..then you better go and get something to eat and drink, i`ll go with you if you want me to .." Ames offered. He chuckled, "I know you can take care of yourself Broden" he said.

"Nothing much..just talked to some people and then i went for a walk.." he said and inhaled again. He looked at her,"If the damsel in distress goes by the name Broden,then yes i would look,but then again..i already found her" he said and grinned at her. He wanted to kiss her again, it wasn`t so scary to think about now like it was before.

"So where are my kisses ?" Ames asked her and exhaled the smoke, licking his lips after.

Broden smiled and inhaled a bit and then exhaled , feeling herself get more lost in those mysterious eyes.She almost giggled as he called her love again , she absolutely loved his voice. She smiled and wondered if he was really interested in going with her but too proud to ask " you know you could always ask me out for dinner ." she winked and smiled a bit more

"ah yes ..i guess business ? hmm so your not stalking me? i must say I'm a little disappointed by that " she said with a soft laugh " I'm just kidding with you .. but i guess i wouldn't be very upset if i did indeed find you in my room one night " she smirked and looked at him as he answered her question. "I am not a damsel in distress . I'm not nearly enough ladylike for that "

She had to smile a bit as he asked her where his kisses where "hmm kisses? but i don't have any kisses t give " she teased a bit and looked at him more" perhaps you need to teach me how to give a kiss "

Ames looked at her and inhaled the smoke before exhaling it again, then she mentioned taking her out for dinner. He had to smile,"Yeah i guess i`m not the gentleman of the year for not taking you out for dinner..i`m not very good at this.." he said to her and smiled softly. "But fine, if you want me to take you out for dinner..i will do so " Ames said to her and smiled some at her.

He nodded,"yes buisness..can`t really get away from that though..and no i haven`t had the chance to stalk you " he said and grinned at her. "Mm when you least expect it i might be waiting for you in your room" he said and smirked some at her.

Ames chuckled softly at her next comment. He knew she wasn`t much of a damsel in distress, but parts of him wondered if she wanted to be deep inside.

He had to grin,it was fun to see Broden act like this around him. "Yes kisses..and are you sure you haven`t saved some for me ?" he asked her and looked at her. Ames moved closer to her and cupped her cheeks, "It looks like i have to do so.." he said and leaned in,planting a kiss on her lips.

She just listened to his rich and husky voice and loved the view words just rolled off his tongue in that addictive manner that only he could pull off. "hmm never said anything about being a gentleman, your my brave warrior " She leaned into his arms and hoped he would wrap them around her tightly."thank you . i hope you want me to come with you to dinner ?"

She smiled and took in his scent and hoped he would wrap his damn arms around her soon."mhm .. not a single chance . I'm certain there has been plenty of chances for you too stalk me "she said softly and smiled a bit more at him " hmm ill wait for you then " she said softly and smiled more at him.

She said softly and looked at him, wondering what was on his mind.She sighed softly and looked up at him and put her hands on his waist and caressed it.

broden smiled and looked up at him "mmm kisses ..and hmm I'm not sure about that " she said softly to tease. Broden felt his hands cup her cheeks and was even closer now."mhm you do .. " kissed his lips back more and caressed his waist more."mhm .. can you please kiss me more "

Ames looked at Broden as she spoke. He shrugged a bit,"Sometimes i just don`t know what you expect..gentleman or not.." he said and smiled softly at her. "Yeah i prefer being called a warrior instead of a gentleman " he said and grinned,watching her leaning into his arms. Ames nodded, "Yes i do..i want to take you out for dinner Broden" he said to her and looked into her eyes.

After a couple of minutes, Ames wrapped his strong arms around Broden`s body and smiled some at her, "there`s been plenty of times where i could`ve stalked you..but i choosed not to " he said and loked at her. He grinned slightly and looked around a bit, "You`ll be waiting for me..well i like the sound of that" he said and smiled.


Ames loved just being here with Broden, it felt good just getting away from all the bad he had to deal with and for just a moment be somewhere he could feel safe. He smiled when Broden caressed his sides so gently.

He smiled back at Broden, still keeping her in his arms , "I think you need some kisses as well Brodes " he said to her and grinned. He kept kissing her lips.

He looked at her fast and nodded" Of course i can.." Ames whispered at her and kept kissing her sweet lips. The kisses got deeper.

Brode smiled and tried to not laugh alittle as he spoke and told her that he didn't know if she wanted a gentleman or not"Ames .. trust me i have no need for a gentleman , i am not my sister and i know that any gentleman can have a beast hidden down inside " she said softly and smiled a bit more and loved leaning in close to his chest and feeling his body warmth "mhm then take me " she said softly and smiled more.

After a while he finally wrapped his arms around her and it felt like heaven to Broden."took you long enough .. " she said softly and looked up at him and listens to him again. "had lots of chances but chose not to.. hmm why is that ? i thought your nickname was shadow " she smiled and winked at him. She sighed softly and took in the safe scent of him "mhm ..i will .. and your cologne smells nice "

Broden enjoyed this moment as she felt safer than she had ever felt before , She would love to be with him every night , to travel the world with him and find new adventures every day."i love this .. being in your arms ..Ames .. i never felt this way before for anyone .. " she whispered out softly and looked up at him as she trailed her fingertips across his sides.

Broden smiled and laughed softly as he kept her in his arms and said that she needs some kisses too. "hmm do i now ?" she smiled even brighter and looked up at him as she kissed him back more. She loved his smiles and how they seemed to light up her world completely. She was certain that he was the only man who could ever make her feel this way.

Broden truly felt like she was in a fairytale here with him as his lips met hers and all her worries disappeared with him in this last moment.a few soft noises escaped her lips as his kisses became more deep and intense.

Ames looked at Broden and smiled a bit,"Okey then..i won`t be a gentleman..just myself and i forgot for a second that you had a sister.." he said to her and grinned a bit. He liked feeling Broden close to him. He looked at her and smiled some again,"Alright then i`ll take you out for dinner..but for the record..i don`t do fancy shit" he said and smirked at her.


He chuckled softly at her comment after he wrapped his strong arms around her petit body, "Yeah but i bet it was worth the wait " Ames said and smiled down at her when she looked up at him. He shrugged ,"Well i have asked myself that question many times..and i think it`s because i want to be careful..i have someone watching my steps.."Ames told her and smiled a bit. "Thank you" he said and smiled more at her.

Ames was glad that Broden was safe now, but of course she did have missions that could put her into danger ,even though she had the ability to heal herself to the fullest again, Ames still worried a lot about her. He wanted to keep her safe. He smiled,"I like having you in my arms too Broden, it feels really nice " he said to her and smiled. "And i know the feeling.." he whispered back at her.

Ames nodded and smiled at her,"Yes you do.." he said to her. He kept on kissing her, holding her close in his arms.


The kisses went on, they got deeper and more passionate, but Ames had to pull back to catch a breath. He caressed her sides gently and looked into Broden`s eyes. Ames was a strong man, stubborn too, but even the strongest men out there had their weakness, And Ames`s weakness was the girl who was in his arms,Broden. Ames was so in love with Broden , the only person he wanted to be with.

"I`m so glad that we met again Broden, i really am...and nothing will ever get the chance to keep us apart again " Ames said to her.

Broden smiled a bit more brightly as he talked and enjoyed how his voice could make her melt , it was so seductive and husky and she could still remember how it felt to lay in his strong arms just to seek heat. " mhm .. i don't need a gentleman .. and i do .. she is special " she said softly and looked up in his eyes.she didn't need any fancy dinners or gifts , she just needed him. " its fine . i don't like fancy places either "

"yeah it was . don't go getting cocky here .. " she smiled and leaned into his arms." you have no idea how you have ruined me for any other man .. you're the only one i want " she whispered against his shirt.How he could have such a hold on her , well it was a mystery even to broden. "and your scared they might come after me? but Ames , i am capable of taking care of myself" she said softly and wrapped her arms more around his waist, just wanting to hold onto the moment for a bit longer.

She closed her eyes for a moment and just took it all in.He was here and he was real , not just some figment of her imagination and best of all he had just confessed to having feelings for her.She had spent so many days thinking of him , longing for a moment like this and now finally it happened. She could have fainted when she heard him say he liked having her in his arms." it feels heavenly "

"you seem so sure about that , i think its you that wants the kisses " she smiled playfully and kissed his lips lightly and touched up his back a bit before deepening the kisses.

The more deep and passionate their kisses became , broden felt more weak in her knees and it became harder to not pass out. She pulled away for air and sighed. "mhm .. your way too good at that . its dangerous " she mumbled out softly and blissfully. He truly was the only person she would ever want marry and have children with.

"Me too . i was going insane here, i have friends here but none of them are you , none of them can make me feel as happy as you do .. nothing ? really . you'll stay here with me?" she asked softly and licked her lips.

Ames looked down at Broden and smiled a bit, happy that she never needed him to be a gentleman.Ames just wasn`t the type. Ames had never met her sister, but he wasn`t in any need of it either, he just knew that he had the better sister with him anyways. He looked into Broden`s eyes and smiled some more at her. "Good..i don`t fit in on fancy places either " Ames said to her and grinned a bit.

"Haha what..i am not getting cocky " he said and chuckled some. Ames listened to what she said next, it made him look at her. "I have ? well lucky me then and you`re the only one that i want too " he said to her and smiled. He sighed softly. "I am worried and i know that..but it`s not just you they will take..they migh as well just kill me too if they know my weakness" he said softly to her. He wrapped his arms tighter around her as well.

The kisses went on and they felt heavenly, Ames held her close to him as they were kissing. After a while they both had to pull away for air. He grinned at her comment. "Not my fault i`m such a great kisser " he said and smirked at her. Ames could picture himself in the future being married and having children with Broden.

Ames looked down at her and smiled. "There`s no one like you either and i can`t take my chances on losing you again, i need you close to me. "he said and cupped her cheeks and caressed them with his thumbs gently. "But i`d die for you to keep you safe Broden" he said as well to her and looked into her eyes for a moment.

But the moment got interrupted as Ames heard cars pulling up close and voices were talking. He looked up and around. "Someone`s coming " he said quickly.

Broden smiles and blushed a bit softly as she looked up at him and had no other wish than to be here with him." me neither ..I'm more of the beer and chicken kind of girl" she said softly and smiled up at him "damn your so tall ..i feel like an extra for the hobbit " she smiled and licked her lips again.


She giggled a bit as he protested her comment about him getting cocky"yes you are ..but your so handsome doing it " she sighed softly and smiled more as she was in his arms and felt happy and safe." mhm ..good because i want to be the only one you want " she whispered to him." don't worry ..I'm a tough one to kill and don't say that . i don't want you too die on me" she said softly and smiled more as he wrapped his arms tighter around her.

She gasped for air after the intense kiss and smiles more up at him."mhm ..your so good at that .." she said softly and smiled and kissed at his chest." mhm .. i could spend hours kissing you " she said softly. she wanted nothing more than to grow old with him and have children

Broden had no other way of reacting than blush deeply and listen to his sweet words." you wont .. I'm yours as long as you want me .. i long for you and to be close to you " she whispered softly and leaned up on her tiptoes and kissed his chin."i don't want you to die for me , i want you to live for me " she smiled and looked into his eyes.

She heard the cars and voices , she sighed and swallowed hard " okay ..lets get out of here then " she whispered and took his hand and began to run from the scene
