Alexi was sitting in the park, staring at a blank page of paper in her notebook. She sighed, her breath drifting up as a vapor. She had no ideas for a article, she hadn't had one for a while. At least no a good one. She brushed her red hair from her face and rubbed her eyes, she hadn't gotten a good nights sleep either and the dark bags that she had tried to cover with make up betrayed her.
There was a strong sense of electricity in the air...or perhaps it was the absence of it. Or maybe it was the growing sense of foreboding in the pit of Alexandria's stomach as it slowly rose, threatening to choke her; threatening to strangle all the life from her. However, Alexi didn't know the feeling of foreboding, she'd never felt it before. So she ignored all the signs of impending doom.

Micheal was sitting in the same park, watching the little kids go down the slide, a small smile on his lips as he heard one of the older boys run up to his friends. "The past six times I went down, I didn't get shocked once!" He exclaimed. The other boy looked at him in disbelief and went down the slide. He came out screaming it was true.
Micheal smirked, as it was his doing that they were not being shocked. He was drawing the electricity from the slide, and looked around. He saw a pretty woman sitting at a table with a pencil and heaps of paper. He considered going over to say hello, but decided against it...He looked back at the slide...
