Personality:{For starters Kaveh is devoted. Arkham is a bit of a second home for him. He keeps up with the work he has to do and will go to great lengths to help the patients he treats. He's also confident. He's self-assured in his work and isn't afraid to show his confidence in it.
Kaveh has a large sense of sensibility. He's wiser than he looks. This has been shown when he judges peoples character, or when he recognizes he is in over his head. While this sensibility may help him recognize the situations he gets in, he all-too-often throws wisdom out the window and charts his own course.
He's also a pretty good sense of humor. He knows how to have fun and make friends, but most of the time his work comes first, but he knows when enough is enough. He can break seriousness by giving a small little joke.
He's a fair judge of character and knows who he should be friends with and who he shouldn't. Despite being a quick thinker, he's not always the quickest learner and had to study extensiveness hours during school for tests. Despite showing signs of being quite wise, Kaveh can also be a bit naive and too trusting at times.
However, while he's all that's he's also ambitious. After his work at Arkham, he often spends nights researching the many people who have powers. He's a bit fascinated with them, eager to understand how it works. He's a bit stubborn when it comes to what he thinks his right and what he believes in.}
History:{Kaveh was born in India and raised by Marlon and Maya Andari. He's the youngest of the three children born to Kaveh's parents. When he was born, his mother died, and therefore the sour relationship between Kaveh and his father was created.
The eldest of the three of the Andari children was Arvind. The relationship between Kaveh and Arvind wasn't the best. Kaveh had always prompted Arvind to be a better man, but his older brother had just turned to drugs and alcohol to calm his depression.
Naveen and Kaveh, however, were nearly inseparable. Kaveh looked up to his older brother and had wanted to be just like him for the longest time. The two of them did everything together. Naveen stood up for Kaveh and took on all the bullies that chose Kaveh as their victim.
After his mother's death, Kaveh's father blamed him for it, and basically refused to care for him, leaving Naveen, at age 10, to do most of the work in caring for his little brother. That's most likely when their closeness was formed. Naveen didn't blame Kaveh for anything, as Marlon and Arvind did.
Growing up in a poorer home wasn't always easy, of course it wasn't, especially when your father and older brother hated you. When there wasn't enough food, Kaveh was the one who went without eating at dinner time, but was given half of Naveen's dinner (which he would always try to decline).
As he grew older, Kaveh became increasingly bitter towards his father and Arvind. His father who stayed out late, often coming back drunk and in a raging mood. Guess who felt the sting of that rage? That's right: Kaveh. More often than not, Naveen would return home from one of his three jobs, that he'd had since he was thirteen, to find Kaveh curled in a ball in the small room the brothers shared covered in welts from his father's belt and bruises from his fists and feet. Arvind too would come staggering home later with what little money he'd received from selling drugs, which Naveen highly protested to.
At sixteen, Naveen broke away from the family after an argument with their father, which left the front door hanging from its hinges. For years, no one heard from him and Kaveh, at six, was left to suffer his father's wraith. For the years that Naveen was gone, Kaveh was hardly fed and often left to fend for himself, which was something he'd grown used to. He was beaten endlessly upon Marlon's return to the house, striking out at the person he blamed for all his problems.
At eleven, Kaveh had an urge to learn and met his neighbor everyday for months to learn to read and write. When his father found out, he firmly forbid Kaveh to continue taking lessons, but by that time Kaveh knew most of what he needed to know to continue on his own. Secretly, every night when his father was away he'd practice his letters.
That went fine until Marlon came home late one night to find Kaveh writing letters. He went berserk and took all the fury out on his son, just as usual. Kaveh doesn't remember much from that night, all he knows is that there was a lot of pain and that was the day Naveen made his return. He woke up in a New York hospital room four days later.
After that, Naveen, working as a surgeon at the Red Cross, enrolled Kaveh in an elementary school so his little brother could catch up on his education. Kaveh was bullied a lot in school for his accent and his darker complexion, and was attacked several times. Naveen took care of the bullies right away. When at last Kaveh graduated, he graduated with flying colors, free to study whatever he desired.
As soon as he was old enough, he moved to an apartment in Gotham, where he went to collage and eventually worked in the infamous Arkham Asylum. }
