Beep-peep, Beep-peep, Beep-peep
A console sounded in the Orbital Watchtower, and whomever was on watch was alerted as to an in-bound object. It was very small, and very fast, as far as space objects went. Was it a missile ? A ship ?
Whatever it was, it was going fast enough, that even at afew metric tons of mass, the compound inertia was horrific.
- WHOOOOOOOOSH -
It nearly hit the Watchtower by mere meters, as it hauled its way to earth. The watchtower wiggled in its otherwise solid geo-sync orbital position.
If it it, it would make the Tunguska Event look like a cherry bomb, especially if it hit land. If it hit water, there would be a tsunami wave atleast hundreds of meters high and thousands of miles wide.
One could only conclude that it would be ordinance, due to its small size and absurd speed. Who was taking intergalactic pot-shots at Earth ?
Well, whoever it was, they could be dealt with later. Right Now, the -thing- needed to be stopped - before it impacted.

Clark was in the break room of the Daily Planet, pouring a pitch of coffee into a cup as he placed the pitch on the counter once his cup was full. Taking a sip, he swallowed before he sighed and leaned back in relaxation. He loved his job here at the Daily Planet as a journalist and reporter as Clark Kent himself, the opposite of Superman. He liked working with everyone including his lover and report Lois Lane, so you can say he feels at home at the DP. His job was supposed to ask the tough questions but be himself, not like a Bill O’ Reilly or Rush Limbaugh. Clark didn’t even watch those so called “news anchors” or whatever they are called because they always make fools of themselves. Lois would take good care of them and basically put them in their places since she’s very good of that and telling the truth like it is. “Watchtower to Superman, come in”, said a voice in Clark’s earpiece (that he wears everyday if there’s a threat to earth). Clark put down the cup and walked outside, peeking his head out to see if there was anyone and to his luck, no one was. Back inside the break room, Clark close the door and tapped on the earpiece before speaking. “I'm here, go ahead”, he told one of the staff in the watchtower. “We just got word of a small object heading straight for Earth. It just past us but were fine but you need to stop it before it hits impact”, the person said as Clark arched his eyebrow before he nodded. “I’m on it. Alert other members of the league just in case anything worse happens. Superman out”, he told him before he finished his coffee, then placing the cup in the sink before heading out of the break room. Passing by someone & asked if they could tell Lois that Clark had to…run an errand. The person nodded but was confused before leaving to tell Clark’s lover what Kent said but Lois understood what that meant. Clark walked down the hallway before finding a room. He opened it and went inside as the room, closing it behind him, had nothing but boxes and storage. This is a room he always went to in time to change but into what? Taking off his glasses he put them in his pants pocket before unbuttoning his shirt. He opened it as it revealed the logo of an ‘S’, a symbol that everyone knew and recognized. Clark Kent was not just your average normal kind of guy to anyone whether it was in the DP, Smallville, or any other place. Clark Kent is also known as The Man Of Steel… SUPERMAN Metropolis hero and savior took off in a speed of light, away from the Daily Planet. Superman had to hurry and stop the object before it struck Earth. He didn’t know the impact and it’s better he didn’t because Clark would not just stand there and let it happen like a fool. He would do anything for this planet, the one that taught him more about life and how human’s interact with each other. His super hearing picked up the comet as Superman looked right up and saw it coming. With both of his hands and arms, he raised them up before the comet hit…and Superman catches it with all of his power and strength. The Man Of Steel next flies away with the comet before finding a vacant place full of green plants, etc on to put it. Clark landed and placed the object down on the ground before backing away slowly.

The pod was about 12 feet in diameter, smooth and spherical with a metallic white finish, and glowing blue longitudinal lines going from dorsal to ventral, dividing the ship like the lobes of an orange.
The otherwise seamless smooth surface seemed to 'grow' a door, and a young woman cautiously popped her head out. She couldn't have been more than 16, if even that, although she was very beautiful so far.
M'Ganan M'orzz had forest green skin, flaming red hair, and electric blue eyes, and was wearing a black spaceflight suit with a red X-harness of some sort, with black boots and gauntlets.
"Hello ?.... Can you understand me ?"She said to ...... the man wearing red and blue, with a red and yellow symbol...... Uniform ? No, not a uniform, there was no issued equipment on belts or harnesses, and certainly no rank indicators on the sleeves.
"Was it you who saved me from splattering into the ground?" She suspected it would get real awkward if he didn't understand a word she said.
Looking around, she saw wall to wall of trees and plants, and wondered where she had ended up at..... It wasn't Mars, and probably wasn't earth.... How far had she drifted since her computers went out ?

As Clark stepped away from the object, he clenched his hands into fists, prepared for anything. The thing can open up and some big monster would come flying out, right after The Man of Steel. It opened as someone came out but it wasn’t who Clark expected at first. A beautiful young female in green, wearing attire that reminded Superman of The Martian Man hunter (J’onn J’onzz), a friend and colleague of Clark. Did J’onn knew anything about her arrival? Why was she here? Was she an enemy or a potential good guy? Clark was ready to find out before she started asking the questions. Unclenching his fist, his features were calm and steady as he smiled a bit. He walked up to her slowly because he didn’t know her all that well and had to be prepared. “Yes…I can understand you but I can also hear you loud and clear. I was the one that stopped that thing you were in before it hit Earth. I’m a pretty strong guy but I just wanted to make sure it didn’t damage anything to a city or small town of the Earth”, he said and explained himself to the female green Martian. He knew of the martian’s existence thanks to J’onn. He and J’onn could relate since they are survivors of their very own race. Superman was Krypton’s last son, which he thought until he met Kara, his cousin, who became Supergirl years ago. “You are on planet Earth. My name is Kal-El but people around the world know me better as Superman, one of Earth’s mightiest heroes and protector. It’s nice to meet you”, he told the martian as Clark put out his hand for the two of them to shake.

Earth !
M'Ganan smiled and sighed in relief. It was good to know that she hadn't drifted too far off course. She had been journeying back to Mars, but M'Ganan supposed she could stay on earth for abit.
Returning the handshake, she responded "I am M'Ganan M'orzz, and thank you. Most of the computers are .... How you say.... The Deep Fried ?" She was sure she messed that up, but fortunately, tweaking her little trash-built cathode array had managed to pick up very interesting audio-visual signals while on Tamaran.... Earthling Television.
M'ganan especially liked Dr Who, Star Trek, and Mork and Mindy. She couldn't be sure, but as far as she could tell, one was a series of Morality tales, one was a drama of creative thinking and dynamic problem solving, and the other was apparently a crash course in earth culture education from an extraterrestrial perspective.
She felt fairly prepared enough to be willing to stay on Earth, for now. Her parent's bodies had waited on the ground, un-buried, for this long, they could rather unfortunately wait abit longer. At least she was far closer to her initially intended destination than she had been.
(She was of course, unaware that Martian society had collapsed and otherwise rendered itself extinct, and that Mars was now a barren world.)

Superman smiled and chuckled a bit at Megan’s comment about her computers as deep fried. “I understand what you mean by that. Earth’s technology on here is very advanced and has changed throughout all the years I have been on here. Sometimes computers have glitches, it can freeze and stop, then you have to start all over again so I have been there”, he told Miss Martian. As long as Clark has been here on earth, technology has come to good use when it came to his career at the Dailey Planet or even The Watchtower. Though technology gets into the wrong hands at times due to guys like Lex Luthor, Tonyman or even worse but it was a win for both sides. Clark looked at the object that Megan was in before looking back at her and started to talk.
“If I may ask what are you doing here on Earth Me’gan? Have you come to see J’onn J’onzz? He like you is a green martian and he lives here on earth. He’s one of my dearest friends and I think you would like him a lot”, he said to her as Clark started to think about it. Was J’onn really the only survivor from Mars? Did he know anything about Me’gan? And if so was he also aware of her arrival here on the planet of Earth? There were so many questions to ask but he wouldn’t ask all of them today to Me’gan. From what he can see, she isn’t a threat as he thought. Maybe there’s something more to Me’gan than what he thinks. Crossing his arms, Clark listens to the female martian, in hopes of getting some answers today and then the two of them will take it away from here.

J'onn J'onzz ?
Was kal'el trying to match her with a date ? She couldn't be sure, but M'Ganan was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
"I was going back to Mars after having been sent to Tamaran to escape the war and the Burning plagues, but most of my pod's computers were burned out by a passing ion storm. Fortunately, i didn't drift too far off-course. " she had of course, left out details. It was truth enough for now, even though Kal'el might get the feeling she was holding something back.
M'Ganan amusingly smiled a very girly thin-lipped cute smile, and lofted a brow again, much as Spock would do "Fascinating....I presume that there are martian refugees and survivors, all scattered about ?"
She figured if there were Green martians still alive, then she could ..... Her thoughts were interrupted by her stomachs rolling and flip-flopping as they loudly growled. M'Ganan's eyebrows did a wave across her face as she scowled briefly and went cross-roll-eyed at the same time. It was definitely a funky sensation for her "Omm.... Would you have something to eat around here ?"

Clark felt bad for the young martian, almost being brought in the brink of war on Mars. It reminded him of the war on Krypton before it exploded and Clark was sent off into the planet Earth. It was something that Clark had learned in his time when he was in the Fortress Of Solitude at one point. His father were rivals with someone that Clark could not think of the person’s name. Clark shook his head at the question Megan asked him. “As far as I know, J’onn J’onzz is the only martian I have seen on this planet until I met you”, he told her honestly. The martian race was very big in the universe and Clark wished he could of spent some time with J’onn to know more about them.
Then there was the question of if there’s something to eat as Megan was hungry. Superman chuckled a bit before thinking and then snapped his fingers. “There’s a lot of places to ear around the planet Earth but I do know one place…it’s near Happy Harbor, Rhode Island that someone doesn‘t know. It’s nothing special but I can also take your small object and put it inside that place Me’gan”, he told her and asked her one final question. “Can you fly?”, he asked the young martian. His allies who were in the league had a lot of special powers and can fly. If she couldn’t then Superman wanted to bring her there by himself but then maybe go back and bring the object then come back to the place near Happy Harbor.

“Can you fly?”
"Yes" M'ganan said "I presume we are also taking the pod?"
(supermans response)
M'Ganan went back into the ship and got a T-looking thing, then came back out, glided up the side of the sphere-pod, and hooked it into some slot at the top of the ship.
Lifting the pod (and herself) into the air, M'Ganan looked back at Kal'el and said "After you ?"
((yeah, i know, super short response.))

"Yes, we can take the pod" Superman answered as he saw M'Gann get back into the little pod as it lifted with her and Superman followed suit. The Man of Steel started to rise up from the ground and look at M'Gann. "Follow me", he told her as Superman started to fly but not really fast because he wanted the young martian to make she stays close with Clark and so that she does not get lost. Superman has a great amount of speed when it comes to flying or heck, maybe even racing. Ask the worlds most fastest man The Flash. The two of them raced each other years ago to prove who is the fastest man alive and that was ruined by Mirror Master. A few minutes later, Superman saw Happy Harbor as he landed in a part near the woods. He looked up at the young martian and waved his hand, giving her the ok to land.

M'ganan liked the scenery of Happy Harbor, especially the little clusters of sailboats out in the bay. Near the base of the mountain, in a forested meadow with a large rock-face, Kal'el landed, and she also landed and set down the pod.
"So..... ? Here we are ?" M'Ganan said, wondering what was next.
What was next was the rock-face splitting in half and sliding apart to reveal a very large doorway and hallway-tunnel that descended downward.
Megan peered down the length of it from on top of the pod "Is this where your martian friend lives ?"
Following him in, Megan also took the sphere-pod, holding it behind her back by the T-handle like a goody-bag full of toys and fun items, and demonstrating similar strength to Kal'el.
Megan was visibly impressed by the immense cavernous chambers and interspersed technology-panels. She had left the pod behind in what seemed like a good spot, and was now wandering about the place behind Superman.
(superman's responses)
She was looking at a swivel-arm LED spotlight, and was rotating the head-joint - and then it snapped off. Megan make a squeaking sound in surprise as she fumblingly tried to quickly put it back the way it was, and pretend nothing happened - only to break the rest of the armature off of the medical table.
(superman's response)

As Megan followed Superman to this large rock of a cave, Clark put his hand up on it and then it opened up all the way. "Here we are" Superman told her as he motioned for her to follow him inside and once the two got in there, the cave closed right back up. As they walked, each light came on before they reached the main spot where there was a kitchen, locker rooms, showers and everything in here. The young martian asked if this is where all of the other martians live, Superman shook his head. "Well kind of but J'onn J'onzz is the only martian that comes here from time to time. Well, so do other members of the Justice League come here. This used to be the headquarters of the Justice League but we relocated to space in the watchtower. Though we used this as a back up if anything goes wrong, like a second headquarters" , he explained to Megan. Some of the league members used this for planning out missions, etc.
Then The Man of Steel noticed what Megan was doing next and chuckled a bit. "Having fun?", he asked her and smiled. "It's alright Me'gan, the people here can fix it up", he told the female martian as someone cleared their voice. "He's right so don't you worry about it. It doesn't take long to fix either way" , said someone as a man walked up to them with yellow hair, wearing khaki pants, lab coat, soes and a red shirt. Superman smiled and looked at Megan. "Ah, Megan, this is Doctor Adam Strange. He is a part of Star Labs and one of the people who maintain's the Justice League's Zeta-Beam. Doctor Strange, this is Me'gan, she's a martian and newcomer on earth", he said, introducing the two of them to each other. This is a a great time for Me'gan to know more about the people on earth and what they do for a living. Take Adam for example, a doctor who works very close with the Justice League.

Looking at the parts of the light in her hands, Megan awkwardly put them on the medical table it was mounted to, and shook Strange's hand. "Strange is a.... weird name."

The doctor of STAR Labs chuckled at Megan who told him about his last name. “Really? I don’t think it’s strange but I got it from my family heritage growing up”, he told them. Clark crossed his arms and smiled, knowing his Kyrptonian name can be weird too for people to understand. It was a tradition that everyone Kryptonian has, the same goes for Kara too. If people asked the two about why they had El’s in their names then they would answer: “It’s a tradition”. The sound of something comes from Doctor Strange as Adam pulls out his pager before turning it off and looking at the two heroes. “Something came up at STAR Labs so I have to be there but it’s nice to meet you Megan, hope to see more of you here on Earth. Take care”, waving to both Megan and Clark, Strange left, heading into the Zeta tube and disappearing. The Zeta Tube is used by all league members and STAR scientists in secret places where no one can find them.
Superman looked at Megan. “You said you were hungry right? I can show you where the kitchen is, follow me”, he told her as Superman went into the kitchen of Mount Justice. It’s a very nice kitchen that is cleaned every time but some of the league members. Superman was one of them, since he is a boy scott at times, always doing the right thing and making sure he’s not causing trouble. Opening one of the cabinets, he took out some plates before putting them on the table that’s in the middle of the kitchen. Then his stomach started growling itself. “Well seems like I haven’t eaten anything today” he joked before going over to the refrigerator and opening it. He looked at Megan. “This is a refrigerator where foods and drinks are stored. If there’s anything you want to eat, it’s in here. Also in some of the cabinets we place food and drinks in their too” he told her as he opened the refrigerator, showing Megan what’s inside.

Megan marveled at the sleek stainless steel panelings of the refrigerator, and matching appliances; 6 burner stove with double ovens, microwave, and dual dish-washing machines. "Its sooo, .... Shiny !" she said with amused glee. "There's even light-diodes !" she exclaimed at the various appliances' Tron-blue readouts and lights.
Megan was still busy being impressed by her perceptions about earth from what the television signals gave impressions of (earth in the 60's and 70's), and what sort of technologies earth had commonly available now.
She looked at superman and with an otherwise straight face, asked "So are there nuclear-powered flying cars, ray-guns, and pocket-phones yet ?"
Yep, she had alot of catching up to do about how earth really was.
(superman laughs ?/ says something ?)
Poking around in the fridge, Megan had no idea what was what, and therefore, brought out the most random assortment of things; a bag of cordovan-style salad, the mustard bottle, a jar of mint frosting, and a box of left-over mushroom, pineapple, and anchovies pizza.
