It was a nice day in new york and Jax was feeling good today as she knew it was going to rain today by the look of the clouds. She smiled and hummed a bit as she walked toward this little cafe that she had found that had the best cupcakes and baked goods to which she had grown fond of and perhaps just a little bit addicted to.
She smoothed the grey shirt she was wearing down a bit and hoisted up her jeans a bit as they were slipping down on her waist. "mhm rain and goodies . best day this week " she mumbled to herself softly and smiled a bright smile as she entered the little cafe and walked up to the counter "oh hello again .. its a lovely day and i would love a cup of cocoa and two brownies and one of those chocolate cupcakes " she said softly and smiled more brightly.

As the sky was getting grey and cloudy, Jake knew that it was about to rain soon. A frown appeared on his face as he didn`t like the rain much. He was out on his usual run in the park, with music playing in his ears. He felt a few raindrops on his forehead now. "Ah come on " Jake said to himself and ran faster to run away from the rain. As he ran out of the park and to the street , he crossed the road and almost got hit by a car. The driver honked the horn and Jake just flipped him the bird and continued to run.
He stopped outside the cafe to catch a breathe ,but he hurried inside the cafe before the rain started to pour down. "Damn rain.." he said and looked around in the cafe before he walked up to the counter and asked for a glass of water.

It didn't take long before she got her order and she payed for it . looking around for a booth by the windows so she could admire the rain and view of the city being washed by it. "mhm its lovely and ooh booth over there " she mumbled out as she spotted a free booth by the window. She smiled and walked over to the booth and sat down with a soft sigh. "hmm .. cocoa and some sweets , what more could i ask for " she said softly and looked out the window.
She heard a male voice uttering a complaint about the rain and sighed softly " the rain is needed and refreshing .. " she said softly to the boy and took a bite of her brownie. The boy was handsome yes but she couldn't understand how someone could dislike the rain when it was so refreshing and beautiful.

Jake grabbed the glass of water he asked for, "Thanks" he said to the person behind the counter. He looked over at a girl who was sitting in a booth next to the window that spoke to him. Jake frowned and stepped away from the counter and walked closer to the girl , "Yeah..i get that it`s needed and refreshing..but i just don`t like it " Jake said to her and shrugged. He took another sip of the water.
She was a pretty girl. Jake looked out the window at the pouring rain outside , he sighed. "Why do you like the rain so much ?" he asked the girl and turned his gaze at her.

Jax smiled at him and looked at him "why not ? why do you not enjoy the weather .the rain is so beautiful and refreshing " She asked softly once more " its so calming , to hear the rain drops as they land " she said softly and looked at him and blushed a bit lightly.
"its just always been calming to me and just a great relief " she said softly and looked at him." its safe and comforting . " She smiled a bit more as she looked at him again and admired his handsome face. " you want to sit down ?" she offered with a kind and warm smile.

Jake looked at her and smiled some , " I just have my reasons for it " he said and smiled to her some more. " I guess i haven`t listened to the rain drops when they land " Jake said and grinned. She seemed to like the rain a lot, and he didn`t judge her for that. He just didn`t like the rain like others did.
"That`s good for you , we just have our different opinion about it " Jake said and looked at her. He smiled some when she asked if he wanted to sit down. "Yeah,sure i can sit down " Jake said and took a seat and looked at her smiling. He lifted the glass to his lips and sipped some more water.

Jax listened to him and nodded "well i guess we all have our different opinions .. " she said softly and smiled a bright smile " its beautiful, its like a heartbeat , kinda like nature`s heartbeat . at least to me " she said softly and sipped her cocoa. " so what do you like then ? if i can ask that " she smiled and licked the whipped cream of her lip."do you want some ?" she asked and offered a piece of brownie to him.
"thank you and i agree . we are all different but it doesn't mean that we cant all get along peacefully."she said softly and nibbled on her brownie and smiled as he sat down and sipped his water." I'm Jaxon .. but you can call me Jax " she smiled and looked out the window to see the streets being bathed in the rain.

Jake looked at her and nodded "Yeah that we do .." he said and smiled a bit. "I like a lot of other things like...the sun , and drivin my bike around " Jake said and smiled to her some more. He took a look at the brownie she was offering him, "No, but thanks for offering " he said and looked at her.
"True..nothing to get upset about " Jake said and smiled more to her. As Jake was sitting down and sipped his water, he looked at the girl as she introduced herself to him. "Nice to meet you Jax " he said and grinned slightly. He looked out the window as well and watched the people walking and running in the rain with their umbrellas over their heads.
"I`m Jake by the way " he said to Jax and looked back at her and smiled. She was really gorgeous and pretty.

Jax sighed softly and smiled a bit more as she listened to him as he spoke with that nice voice. "you like being outside a lot i take it " she said softly. She took a bite out of the brownie and smiled more " okay then . your loss " she smirked and sipped her beverage.
She nodded and sighed softly as she looked out the window to see if she saw something interesting outside. "nice to meet you too " she ate her brownie and looked at him ."so what do you usually do for a living ?" she asked softly and looked down at the table and wondered if she could take a nap somewhere soon.
"Jake ..cool name " she shrugged lazily and leaned back in the seat and looked at this handsome and cute boy but found herself thinking it would be pointless to show interest as someone like that most likely had tons of girlfriends.

Jake nodded some and smiled at her , "yeah i love being outside,except when the weather gets like this..then i can stay out for many hours" he said and smiled to her some more. He grinned slightly, "yeah,but there will be other chances when i can have brownies" Jake said and looked at her.
He turned his gaze back at Jax and listened to her. He smiled some when she asked what he usually did for a living, "Well.what i usually do is i look out for this city" he said and looked at her some more, sipping some more water.
"Thanks..i like your name too " he said and smiled to her. He ran a hand through his hair and looked at Jax. "So what do you say if i want to ask you out?" Jake asked her and smiled a bit. He couldn't let this chance slip away from him.

jax smiled a bit more at him "I loove this kind of weather . and when it snows , i could spend hours in it " she said softly and sighed in a lazy manner. She looked at him and looked around a bit more "oh there is no day when i would turn down sweets " she smirked and looked at him.
She listened and looked at him more ,he had a nice smile that much she could admit to herself. "look out for new york ? like some vigilante?" she asked curiously and looked down a bit more. she sipped some more of her beverage and yawned softly. "aah i need a nap soon " she mumbled softly to herself.
"Thank you its short for Jaxon Alexandra , that's my full name " she said softly and lazily as she looked at the bench and wished she had some Italian soda right now. "ask me out ? why ?i mean don't you have a ton of girlfriends?" she asked softly and wasn't sure why he wanted to take her out. he was cute and all that but guys like him always had chicks swarming around him.
