Crow and Silence's attempts at One Liners

[James Wayne]

This thread is only for Crow and I, but everyone else is welcome to watch us attempt one liners! I'll be using James and she'll be using Joker because we have the least amount of muse for them. I have no idea where this is going to go, Crow, but I'm just going to randomly write something here.

James's eyes narrowed and a scowl settled easily over his features, his lips curling in a wolfish snarl, he didn't understand what the whole point of what they were doing, he didn't have the curtsy not to voice his thoughts aloud, "This is a joke isn't it, I mean it would make quite a lot of sense considering you call yourself "the Joker" but really, this whole thing is stupid."

[Joker]

Joker growled softly at this boy as he seemed to just not get it and it really wasn't that difficult, unlike any of the Bat's plans, "It's not a joke and it's simple - plant the bombs and watch the city drown in chaos."


I didn't realise how hard this would be...

James glared at him, another growl slipping from his mouth, "I didn't sign up to blow up the whole god damn city, there are people down there that I care about, good people that don't deserve to die!"

It is hard...it's really hard....

[Joker]

"How do you know they don't deserve to die?" Joker shouted as he turned on the younger male before he began stalking towards James with gritted teeth, his temper close to boiling point with probably no hope of it dying.

Jame's anger spiked, he didn't know how much longer he would be able to control it as it rolled through his veins, "Because I know some of them, I know Amelia and Matthew and Jim, they don't deserve to die!"

Yeah...kinda..*nodnod* me too...

[Joker]

"The Commish, the officer and the doctor - all bad jokes for humanity." Joker hissed before laughing and stalking ever closer, his almost black eyes looking into James' light blue ones as a grin pulled at his lips and crumpled his scarred cheeks into a nightmarish grin...

[James Wayne]

"Don't you dare insult them in front of me," snarled James, meeting Joker's midnight dark eyes with his own sky light ones, his teeth clenched together, "they're better people then you'll ever be!"

[Joker]

"Ouch," Joker almost hissed as though actually hurt before he laughed harshly at James' words, not caring for them and not being at all effected by them as he knew they were probably better people than he'd ever be, though he'd never fooled himself into thinking he could be a good person - from what he remembered - unlike James and so he replies with a simple line of true: "Better people than you'll ever be, too."

James, unlike Joker, was hit with the full blow of the words, they pushed him further into his unstable reality and further away from his dream for sanity and so he only replied with, "Better people than either of us, yes but they don't deserve death."

[Joker]

Joker laughed again at the words, unable to stop himself and unwilling to stop himself, "Life's a joke, Wolfboy, and death's the punchline."

[James Wayne]

His fists curled together, his teeth grinding together as he growled, "Does nothing matter to you besides chaos and destruction?[/b]"
