Hailey sat, drinking her root-beer, giving a slight roll of her eyes when he sat with her. She looked at him with her gray eyes, waiting silently in the Red Robin for her new order to come out. At his question, she smirked faintly. "Do it matter to you what it is like being married to Bruce? Would you like to propose to him?" She teased with a happy laugh as she took another drink of her root-beer.

Hearing her question and teasing, AJ shook his head and chuckled a bit. “No, I would not like to propose to him. Number one, I am not in love with him, neither do I have feelings, it’s all about the ladies for me. Some call me a chick magnet because of my natural handsome looks, I can’t contain it” he told Hailey, sipping on his root beer. The Green Lantern wasn’t jealous of a guy Bruce Wayne, because Bruce had everything in life. The cars, the big house and even Hailey, which is a giant plus for Mister Wayne. Maybe he could one day bring in AJ to work for Wayne Enterprises…not really.
“And besides, it sounds like you’re happy, married to Bruce Wayne so it’s all good. I’m happy for you”, he said to Hailey. A guy like Bruce Wayne could be attracted to other woman around the world, he could hurt Hailey, breaking her hurt. It would make AJ upset and wanted to punch the guy in the face, breaking his nose but Hailey would get mad at him. AJ wasn’t even friends with Hailey, he just knew her, getting to know her to be exact. Bruce should be lucky that he has someone like Hailey on his side, instead of going around and being with other woman.

Hailey laughed as she sipped on her root-beer. She smiled as she savored the tastes, leaning back in her chair. She yawned, looking at the red coming through on her arm. She sighed sadly as she looked at it. She rolled her eyes at his comment about being a chick magnet. As if. She laughed slightly, taking another drink of root-beer.
"Yes. I am very happy with him." She said quietly. She honestly didn't care what this boy thought. She didn't. Why should she? She didn't care. Again, why should she? She didn't.

“Well congratulations, you deserve the best”, he told her before he saw his food arrived. The waiter came with a tray of the three best appetizers from Red Robin, which made The Green Lantern. “Here you go sir, Riblets & Mac n Cheese, Red’s Nantucket Seafood Scatter, and Clucks & Shrimp best in the house”, the waiter said as she set up the tray before placing the three plates in front of AJ. The waiter left as AJ thanked her and a smirk appeared on the Green Lanterns face. “Mmmm…mmmm…may do I love Red Robin’s” he said to Hailey before taking his napkin, placing it in his lap before taking a crispy-fried shrimp.
“So how and when did you become a superhero?”, he asked Hailey, and throwing the crispy-fried shrimp in his mouth, chewing it. He felt the taste of the shrimp, as he savored it, then swallowed before taking another one, eating it. AJ would die and go to heaven right now due to this beautiful food in front of him, even if he had a food coma. AJ is an all american food guy, even though he loved other foods outside of the country when he travels, but this country has the best restaurants and so forth. Taking a sip of root beer, he listens to Hailey talk, giving her his attention.

Hailey rolled her eyes as she watched him. She took another sip of her root-beer. She savored the taste. The smells of what he was eating made her wrinkle her nose. She wasn't a fan of fish. Shrimp was okay - occasionally, but they rest. She took another sip of her drink.
She nodded frankly at his question. "I was nineteen and in World War Two - and no, I'm not that old. Technically, I'm still in my late twenties." She shot down an earlier comment, smirking faintly. "And I was discovered as a woman, but because of my excellence in performance, I was given a chance to be made into a super soldier like Captain America." She answered his question in short answers.

A super soldier like Captain America? AJ stopped eating and scratched his chin, a bit, curious at who she really is. But the World War II stuff, that was familiar to AJ as he took another sip of root beer. “I see. You know back in World War II , my father fought alongside the best superheroes of that era. Like I said when we first met…my dad is the first human Green Lantern, Alan Scott Senior. He wasn’t the only hero back then, there was The Flash, the first Black Canary, The Wildcat, Doctor Fate, and so many heroes. They really saved this country from turning into a Nazi country if it wasn’t for them. They called themselves The Justice Society of America”, he told Hailey.
“My dad would always tell me stories about them and there legendary battles against evil. It motivated and inspired me to do something good in my life but I did not know what that was until one night…this piece of beauty saved me”, he said to Hailey before showing her the green ring on his finger.“As for The Justice Society of America, some of them died, some retired and some are still active to this day, despite their age which is amazing. My dad is still a hero but only a reserve member, he’s my hero and someone that my sister and I can look up too”, he told Hailey and smiled. “Have you heard of them?”

Hailey nodded, listening to what he said. Itw was kind of interesting to her, but she didn't want to buy too much into it, due to the fact that she could get all of the info she needed from SHIELD and from Batman's computer in the 'basement' of her house. She remembered with a smirk, when she had accidentally called it a basement instead of the bat cave. Bruce hadn't let her forget it for over a month. And now, she casually referred to it as the basement.
She nodded as he spilled some information. In her original time that would have been considered treason by some. She smirked, thinking he was very lucky, and technically he was. This time was so much easier than hers. So so much easier. So much in fact that she would have liked to go back, just to have that harder lifestyle again. This was too easy. Way to easy...She nodded at him, sipping on her root-beer.

“But yeah, all of that happened in WWII and so on. The old guys sure do know when to not call it quits and give it all they got, which still amazes me”, AJ said to her before he continues eating his food, finishing the first plate and going to the second plate. AJ wondered what life would be like if there was no heroes in this day and age. Well, everyone in the world would be under the control with the likes of The Red Skull, Darkside, or other villains. AJ made a promise to his father that if Alan Senior died, then AJ would fight for the lanterns and make sure that he would go down swinging if things didn’t turn out good.
“I think you would like my dad Hailey. You and him would be good friends, just chatting, talking about the good old times. He would even tell you that the old years are much better than what we got now”, he told Hailey before he laughed, shaking his head. When it came to technology or new things, it would take AJ to explain to his dad what an I-Pod meant, or a laptop was all about. He knew about the computer from the eighties into the nineties and that’s it. Next thing Alan Senior would say is that he doesn’t have time to be fiddling around, talking to the folks online.
