Alan Scott Junior pulled up to an apartment in Gotham City before finding a park. Turning off the ignition, AJ checked himself in the mirror to make sure that he looked good and handsome for his date, the lovely Helena Bertinelli aka The Huntress. It's been a couple of months since the two of them made their feelings known in Italy and now the two of them were an item. If anyone from The Justice League asked AJ if he and Helena were going out, AJ would tell them 'none of your business'. It wasn't his place to tell anyone about it and besides, it was better if no one knew, since the two heros have enemies of their own. At least AJ can talk to Helena if something was bothering him, and he wasn't alone.
AJ got out of his car and close the door behind him, before pressing the button on his remote to keep the car looked so no crooks would get in. Then AJ walked away from the car, going to Helena's apartment so that he can take her to the resturant. Before even coming here, AJ had to look up the best places they have to eat and found the right one. The one they were going to is the best in Gotham City, so the reservations are already in place. Once AJ reached Helena's apartment, he knocked on the door with his hand, before AJ stopped and waited. Ever since they were an item, people at the place where AJ worked noticed that he was always in a good mood, but not even The Green Lantern would tell them.

Helena checked the time as she walked past her clock, making sure she would be ready by the time Alan arrived to pick her up for their date tonight. Good, she still had enough time. She headed over to her dresser and frowned slightly as she searched for her favorite pair of earrings that she had taken out the other day. She was sure she had set them here. There... Helena picked up the two tiny gold crosses and put them in. Turning, she looked at herself in the mirror. She wore a black, high collared dress that covered her suit and would be easy enough to take off if the Huntress needed to show up. She had everything she needed. Her mask, utility belt, and gloves were all in her purse by the door, just in case she needed them as well. After all, one could never be too safe. Right?
Hearing a knock at the door, she smoothed out her dress before grabbing her purse and going to unlock and open the door. There stood the handsome Alan Scott. The man she had been with for a few months now and the one she loved with all of her heart. "Hey, handsome." Helena said and greeted him with a smile before giving him a kiss.

The door opened and there she was in her black high collared dress, and the only thing that AJ was thinking about was what The Huntress was wearing underneath. That thought quickly got out of his mind as Helena greeted him with a smile and then a kiss. AJ returned the kiss softly to her before he wrapped his arms slowly around her waist, feeling some things through her dress. That's when he could feel Helena's suit underneath the dress, and AJ understood why, just to be prepared. AJ even had his green ring on just in case something came up, like if someone tried to rob the place or do something dangerous. The Green Lantern kissed Helena's forehead before he brushed a piece of her hair behind her ear.
"Hey, beautiful" he said to her and smiled. "You look good for tonight's festivities Helena. I like the dress", he complimented Helena. "Are you ready to head out for the night Helena?", he asked her. Alan Scott was ready to have the date with her and just relax. It's clear that the two of them were not in the mood right now to fight or save the world with other superheros, but if that came up and ruined there date, then so be it. AJ may be a journalist, working for the GSB, but he is a superhero too, so he can do both in one day. It was no sweat, more like multitasking, even though AJ had to make some excuses to his boss on where he was on certain days, etc. At least he wasn't fired so that is a very good thing to be thankful for.

Helena wrapped her arms around his neck when he returned the kiss and put his arms around her waist. It wasn't hard for everyone to see how happy the Huntress was since returning from her trip to Italy. Her mood and attitude had improved immensely since she and AJ had become a pair and almost everyone was surprised. She was different now. When he kissed her forehead she looked up at him with a small smile, her stormy grey gaze meeting his as he tucked a stray black curl behind her ear.
The Huntress listened to Alan as he spoke, and she smiled once more at him,"Thank you." She told him when he said he liked the dress she was wearing. "Yes, I am." Helena said to him with a nod. She was happy to be spending some time with him again tonight. She was ready to relax and just have a good time with AJ, but if it came to saving the world tonight she'd do it. It was the job of a superhero, though she was silently hoping to herself that nothing would happen tonight.

“Okay then, let’s head out”, AJ told her. He took her hand as the two of them left Helena’s apartment, before the reached AJ’s car. Alan opened the door for Helena before closing the door behind her. He got in the car and took out his keys before putting them in, turning on the car and started driving toward the restaurant. AJ turned on the radio and raised the volume up just perfectly so that the smooth music of Kenny Larimore’s “Never Too Busy” was playing. AJ loved this kind of music, RnB, that featured new and old artist of the different generations. He didn’t know what kind of music Helena liked but maybe one day when they are on another date, AJ could play some of Helena’s favorite music. AJ did not know if he would like it or not, so if not, then AJ will just suck it up and be a gentlemen. He can say that he doesn’t like it, but with Helena, he would loose in that argument.
A few minutes passed and AJ pulled up to the resultant in the parking lot, finding a park. He turned off his car before he looked at Helena. “Were here Hells” he told her as AJ got out of the car before The Green Lantern stepped out. AJ walked over to the other side of his car before he opened the door for Helena and held out his hand. “Shall we?”, he asked her. AJ was being a gentlemen like he always is growing up, as his mother, when she didn’t have these personalities, taught AJ the importance of treating woman with respect. AJ remembered every lesson that was taught him, not only by his mother but his dad too. Jade and AJ’s brother were taught that too, so AJ would not be rude to anyone, including Helena. He cared about the people he loved the most, so…so far no problems so far. Though, AJ’s green ring told him to be on alert and watch out for anything suspicious.

"Alright."Helena smiled softly when he took her hand as they left her apartment and headed down to where Alan's car was parked in the parking lot. "Thank you." She thanked him when he opened the car door for her and then closed it once she had gotten into the vehicle. Helena reached for the seat belt and buckled it as Alan got in on the driver's side, started up the car, and pulled out onto the street. As they drove, she listened to the song that was playing, not recognizing it. It was nice, and she liked it. She usually just listened to whatever was on the radio, older, or classical kinds of music. That's what she had grown up listening to as it had been what her mother had liked.
Minutes started to pass, but it wasn't long before Alan pulled the car into a parking space in front of the restaurant. "I love this place." Helena had been here once or twice a few years ago before she left Gotham for a while. She got unbuckled as Alan opened the passenger side door, holding out a hand to her. Such a gentleman. Smiling, she nodded and took his hand before getting out of the car. She pulled her purse straps over her shoulder and looked to Alan. It was going to be a nice night, without any interruptions, she hoped. As they walked up to the doors the Huntress just looked around, briefly scanning the area for anything or anyone that seemed a bit... off and so far saw nothing. That was good.

Alan opens the doors for himself and Helena before going inside. His green ring did a scan through the restuant, something that no one would see since the ring is small, to make sure there was nothing fiishy. The result showed nothing bad so that's good, and even AJ looked around, nothing wrong at all so that's a good sign. Though danger was something not new for Alan Scott Junior, he's faced it all of his life as The Green Lantern and just his normal self. When he was a child, he could never understand why his father was so famous and why children would bully him. That's when he found out there's more to his family than he ever knew. Hence why AJ was destined to be a Green Lantern like his dad.
When AJ open the doors for himself and Helena, he saw a guy at the front desk of the restaurant. Walking up the front desk, AJ cleared his throat, "Hi, My date and I are here. I made reservations, last name...Scott", he said as the guy looked at the list, then looked up at AJ smiled before taking two menus. "Follow me", he told AJ as The Green Lantern looked at his date. "Let's go luv, our table awaits us" , he said to Helena as he smiled at her. His stomach started to growl a bit as AJ placed his hand on it, at least it was not his green ring making noise or the guy at the front desk would look at AJ weridly.
