Bruce || Meeting Of The Billionares

Tonight is the night where the annual Stark Expo takes place at Stark Towers and many people were invited the big extravaganza. In a room of Stark Towers, the people were dressed to impress, where they saw all of the creations of projects belonging to one man and one man only, his name is Tony Stark aka Iron Man. The billionaire and super hero was just coming into the room as he received applause's from everyone he invited for this event . Tony smiled, looking good, waving at all the people because they came to see him, they came to see the man responsible for the creation of Stark Towers and other projects in the works. Tony is a man of many inventions in his life, and he owed it to his parents, including his father for showing him the ropes and supporting him.

He greeted everyone else and took a sip of champagne off of a tray that one of the waiters here were serving. After thanking the waiter, Tony took a look around and saw that all was well, but deep down, he knew something else would happen…maybe something bad. But what could go wrong? Tony has Jarvis making sure that everyone who attended this evening were on the list. For those who are not on the list, they had to go and there’s no need for intruders on an even like this. Tony wanted to make sure that everything went perfect as he saw Pepper come into the room and smiled at her, she looked so good in her dress. Heck, she always looked good, that’s why he felt attractive to Pepper and lucky that she was all of his as Pepper walked up to Tony, giving her a kiss on the cheek. The two of them started to talk about how everything is going for them at tonight’s event.

Bruce pulled into Stark Towers car park; he was in his civilian attire tonight there was no need to be Batman at the moment. Bruce had received an invitation to Tony Stark’s party tonight; something about the Expo Stark had running. Bruce had thought of not showing up tonight but then there was nothing happening in Gotham for Batman to be needed and this was a good chance to meet Stark; he had been planning to meet with the man for a while now and this was a good chance as any. Bruce climbed out of his expensive car as he watched the workers drive his car away.

Bruce handed the person a two hundred dollars for a tip as he made his way inside the building. Tonight Bruce was wearing a simple suit with a tie; he straightened himself as he walked over towards the bar first before he would see Stark. Ordering himself a champagne Bruce watched as the bartender made and handed his drink to him; thanking the man Bruce took a sip before watching Stark enter the room they were in. Bruce waited silently as everyone else greeted Stark before he made his way over towards the man.

Bruce stopped as he approached Stark. “Well isn’t it the man of the hour. Tony Stark.” Bruce explained as he took another sip from his drink. Bruce also had another reason to be here in New York; he was buying a couple of companies that weren’t doing too well and Bruce was sure that Stark knew about his plans to buy them. “Here to show of your fancy new toys?” Bruce asked as he waited for a response from Stark. This was just your average business rivalry going on; Bruce knew that of course yet he still needed to act professional though.

Tony wrapped his arm around Pepper’s waist and brought her close before kissing her forehead. She looked great as always and wondered how she stayed so beautiful. Pepper was so loyal to him despite everything that happened in the past, when he was kidnapped in Afghanistan, the place where Iron Man was born, and became a hero. Pepper always thought that Tony has a heart of steel, no matter if Tony tried to deny it but its true. Just as Tony was about to say something to Pepper, Tony heard a voice, someone, a man who approached him….Bruce Wayne. Tony smirked a bit when he saw the guy and chuckled a bit. “Well look who showed up out of the blue for tonight, Bruce Wayne, the other man of the hour…even though it’s not your event to be honest”, he said to him, and a little bit of humor and sarcasm was heard of what he said.

Then came Wayne’s question if he was showing his toys. “Not exactly, I mean maybe some of them but not all. I mean let’s face it, it’s not really about the suits I have…it’s just about what Stark Industries, what Stark Towers can bring to help improve better things in life”, he told Brue before taking another sip of his wine before he almost forgot something. “Oh how rude of me…uh…Pepper…I would like you to meet Bruce Wayne…the head honcho of Wayne Enterprises” , he told her as Pepper looked at Bruce and smiled. “Hello Mister Wayne, it’s really nice to meet you. Like Tony said I am Pepper Potts, CEO of Stark Industries , even though Tony still runs the company around here”, she told Bruce with a smile on his face, and Tony kissed her cheek softly, not to rub it in Bruce’s face, but show his love for Pepper Potts.

Bruce continued to sip his drink as he watched Stark; he was amused with the continuous banter between the two billionaires even though he did start the banter of. Bruce’s eyes turned away from Stark and towards the man’s girlfriend Pepper Potts. Bruce of course had his own girl waiting for him back home and thus he decided to show up tonight alone only because he wouldn’t be in town for very long. “Can’t let you steal all the thunder.” Bruce grinned as he took another sip from his drink. Bruce was well known as the party boy who drinks alcohol wherever he goes and tonight was no exception at all.

Bruce sighed a little bit when Stark explained that he wouldn’t be showing of all his toys. As with Stark Bruce had some pretty cool gadgets of his own creation though he prefers to keep them quiet; well only the public would know that Batman had the gadgets and Bruce was just well Bruce. “We’ll that’s a shame was looking forward to see what your next suit would be.” Bruce replied back with a smile. Bruce’s attention turned over to Pepper again as she spoke to him. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Miss Potts. I cannot wait to see what Stark Industries have in stall for tonight.” Bruce explained as he watched Stark and Pepper for a moment before returning to his glass of champagne.

“And it’s a pleasure meeting you as well Mister Wayne. Tony and I have heard a lot about you and Wayne Enterprises, so we wish you the best with your company”, Pepper told him before Tony interjected. “Well she does but me…eh…I am so not sure about that” Tony said as Pepper nudged him in the waist with her elbow before she just smirked, shaking her head. “I think I am going to leave you two alone and let you guys…talk. I’ll mingle with other people so you two be on your best behavior”, she told them before looking at Tony and giving him a kiss on his lips. “Especially you Mister Stark” she teased as Pepper left the two gentlemen by themselves. For Pepper’s sake, Tony was going to be on his best behavior, but he wouldn’t just stand by and do nothing, as he took a sip of champagne.

“So how are things going at Wayne Enterprises? Succeeding or struggling?”, he asked Bruce. Tony knew that the competition between himself and others, including Bruce Wayne was there, but they couldn’t hold a candle to Tony. Even with Bruce, he could never top Stark, what does Wayne have going for himself anyway? It’s not like Bruce had any special armor or other cool gadgets that wowed people and said ‘Wow, he’s the greatest of them all. He’s got the coolest toys in the world’. Justin Hammer was just a guy who had a grudge with Tony Stark and now that Hammer is out of the way (and in a jail cell of course), it seems like Bruce Wayne wants a piece of the action. Well tonight, Bruce Wayne won’t see it coming for what Tony brings to the plate.

Bruce smiled back to Pepper as he sipped his drink; looking down at the glass he realized that he would need another one pretty soon. This whole drinking thing was simply an act Bruce didn’t have to do this but he wanted people not to recognize him as Batman; if he revealed himself to the public like Stark did his whole life would be a nightmare come true; people still blame him for the death of Harvey Dent well they blamed Batman for it. “We’ll I’ll try to Miss Potts and thank you Wayne Enterprise did have a rough patch but we’re running smoothly now.” Bruce replied as he watched Pepper leave him to talk to Stark.

It was true after that Bane problem his company seemed to be soaring; now he intended to build a massive orbital space station with Oliver Queen for the sole use of the Justice League but that was hidden from the public heck the public didn’t know they were going to build the space station yet. “Wayne enterprise is doing well. We’ll be announcing something at the end of the week; something huge though you’ll just have to watch the announcement on the television.” Bruce replied back with a smile as he took the last few sips from his drink.

Bruce placed the empty glass on a tray as a waiter walked by; he then picked up another glass of champagne. “I guess we’ll just see if it tops what you’re going to show us tonight.” Bruce said with a grin wondering when Stark was going to show us what he’s been working on. Bruce took a gulp from his drink this time as he turned his head towards Stark as he waited to hear what kind of response he was going to get from the man.

"A big announcement huh? I'll be looking forward to that but i'm not sure if it will beat the announcement I got coming up tonight", he said to Bruce before shaking his head a bit, hiding the smirk on his face. Bruce Wayne looked to be a big show off from what Tony has hear of, but Bruce Wayne was like a pretender, a Tony Stark wannabe to be exact. But was there something else that Bruce was hiding. Tony noticed that Bruce kept drinking the champagne but it was like Wayne didn't want to have any but kept on drinking. He arched his eyebrow before taking something small out of his pocket and putting it his ear. "Excuse me Bruce, the festivities are about to begin...watch and learn", he told his business rival before leaving Wayne.

Tony walked over to the center of the room as the lights started to dim a a bit, with the spotlight on Tony, he tapped the thing in his ear before speaking. "Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to tonight's Stark Expo event for the evening!", he told everyone, welcoming them to the show as the people started clapping, including Pepper. "Now tonight is a night that everyone will never forget. As you know Stark Industries has been very busy bringing you the best to improve the world and the issues that matter to everyone else", he said before pointing to Pepper. "And this lovely lady, my CEO of Stark Industries deserves the credit, so I am not the only person who gets all of it. Give Miss Potts a round of applause please", he told the crowd as they all started clapping for Pepper, who in return, blew Tony a kiss.
