Bruce had been tracking his son’s moves for quite some time now; he wanted to make sure that the kid didn’t get into too much trouble even if they didn’t get along. Bruce had wondered how this meeting would go down; the two weren’t on the best of terms the last time they both spoke to each other but Bruce had hoped that he could bring his son back home with him instead of James being the wild child he was. Bruce sighed to himself as he left the manor alone he wanted to make sure that no one else came with him not that he didn’t care of course it was just better if he saw his son in Arkham before anyone else tried to convince the kid.
Bruce pulled into the car park of Arkham and entered the building; he had been here a few times before but as Batman. This was the first time he would be here as Bruce Wayne. Bruce however pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind as he spoke with the staff explaining why he was here today. The staff had allowed Bruce to speak with James and so he was escorted to his son’s room where he hoped that everything went well today but he was prepared for the likely event that things turned south which they normally did when it was concerning his son. “Hello James.” Bruce said as he walked into his sons room. Bruce fell silent as he waited for a response from his kid.

The word had passed through Arkham quite quickly on that fine morning that Bruce Wayne had arrived to see his son. And who was the first person James saw that morning? Mr. Dennis Andrew, his personal guard. Not many in Arkham could say that had a personal guard, but James could. It made him wonder how many personal jobs Joker had. If James himself only had one he could imagine that Joker had about twenty. The thought amused him, for in many ways he thought himself more dangerous than the Joker.
Andrews dragged him down the hall to the room where he would be meeting with his father, cuffing his wrist to the table. James reminded him that he could break the 'flimsy little chain' with a little yank. The guard glared at him for that and James laughed. The boy didn't, however, know who was coming to visit him, he wasn't told. He probably could have asked, but he didn't. He honestly didn't care who had come to pay him a visit. The last person who had was Alyss. And that had gone beautifully...not.
So when Bruce Wayne walked into the room with the words 'Hello James' on his lips, James let his shock show. He gave a startled little laugh. "Why, hello pops," the Wayne boy chuckled, leaning back in his chair as fair as the chain on his wrist would allow him to. "You're lookin' mighty old, what, you age 'bout fifty years since I lost saw ya?" James smirked at his father, his unnatural pale blue eyes seeming to glow a bit in the dimness of the flickering overhead light.
(Note: I apologize for how much of a little shit James is being. He's probably going to be like this for a long while. Sorry!)

Bruce had wondered what state his son James was in today; though whatever state the kid was in he was most likely not going to be glad to see him but Bruce had wanted to try his luck today anyways he hoped that after spending a few days here in Arkham the staff here would be able to get through to his son. Bruce’s thoughts pondered to where everything went wrong; the day Hailey told him that he was going to be a father was the happiest day of his life but now after seeing his son like this he wondered what went wrong.
As Bruce entered the room that he would be meeting his son but stopped for a moment before speaking to the kid. As soon as James had opened his mouth to speak Bruce knew what kind of conversation this was going to turn out to be like but Bruce had prepared for that too. The laugh that James did reminded him of how Joker would act around Batman and Bruce shuddered at that very thought. Bruce had wanted to raise James like he did with Dick and Barbara and he had hoped that his son would fight on his side rather than become a criminal that was the last thing on his mind.
Bruce sighed as he pulled the chair out; before sitting down he looked back at James for a moment. “Actually son I’m only thirty; haven’t reached the fifty mark yet.” Bruce replied showing his son that his comment didn’t faze him at all. Bruce sat down in the chair and turned his attention to his son James. (That's alright LOL still going to be epic though)

James smirked, "Who do you have on your shoulder this day, aye pops?" His unnatural blue eyes met his father's darker ones, "You gonna leave any other woman with a son?" There was true bitterness in his voice at those words, as though he hated his father for helping bring him into the world. He yanked on the chain binding him to the table and it broke with a loud snap. The guard armed himself and James threw back his head and laughed, tonelessly.
When his laughter subsided, he turned his eyes to the guard. "If I wanted you dead, you'd be choking on your own blood right now," the boy growled, his eyes narrowed, filled with cold dark hate. He turned those cold, dark, hating eyes to his father, rising from his seat. The guard was moving to call for backup, but James waved a hand and the weapon leapt from the guard's hands, landing in James's. He pointed it at the guard, his eyes glaring. He waved his hand again and the door jammed. No one would be getting in and no one would be getting out.
He turned back to his father. "Ya know, I could kill the both of you in the blink of an eye...how does that make ya feel pop? How does it feel to know that you graced the world with just another villain?" James smirked, blue eyes as cold and as malice filled as they could get.
(I am SO TERRIBLY SORRY that I hadn't posted before this!)
