Milo Grant looked around his ever so boring dorm room. He had been there just working on things for school that needed to be finished but he didn’t really want to be stuck inside there anymore. He figured that he had just gone a little stir crazy. Milo stood up and pushed the desk chair back into its spot, under the desk and he walked over to the closet and pulled on a red zip up and exited his room locking it behind him.
Milo had walked down the streets of the city, his hands shoved into his pockets. He really didn’t have a clue as to where he was going but he needed something to do. He hated that, being bored. Milo thought about some of the things that he could do, like to go the park and walk or maybe do some shopping, but that was really about it. He knew that he needed to get some things from the store but never really had the time to go until now. Milo just shrugged. Shopping in Manhattan it was.
Milo had gotten a taxi because it would have been a long walk from where he was to Manhattan. Once the cap had reached the Macy’s, Milo had paid the driver and got out. He really didn’t think that he would shop at Macy’s but maybe it would be a day of firsts. Milo walked over to a small cafe that was a little further down the road not caring that he would have to back track. He needed the exercise.
Once he was inside he had ordered himself a coffee and stood off to the side waiting for them to finish making it.

Amelia had taken a trip to New York to work with a somewhat old friend, Silas Mortimer. Nick Fury, Amelia former employer, had contacted Jim Gordon because he needed Amelia back for the mission Silas was to go on. It had to do with people Amelia knew and a bomb that needed deactivating, which was why Silas was there, being the computer and bomb specialist of S.H.E.I.L.D. After Silas humiliating himself, Amelia getting shot in the shoulder, and the bomb nearly going off, the two of them managed to get the job done and land the culprits in the S.H.E.I.L.D. interrogation rooms.
The aftermath of the mission landed Silas in the bar (the conversation went along the lines of "So, what're you doing after this?" "Taking a walk in the park." "Why would you want to go to the bloody park when there's a bar...and maybe more?" *insert Silas's wink here* "...I have a boyfriend." "So?" "So?! Silas, you're an asshole." "So I've been told.") and Amelia walking in the bar, and then New York's best coffee shop. She entered the coffee shop, ordering her usual, and standing back to wait for the order.
(sorry this is so short!)

Milo Grant still stood there waiting for them to finish his order. He had noticed a blond woman walk in and she had ordered herself a drink as well and stood near him waiting for her drink as well. Milo shifted his weight from one foot to the other and stood there in an awkward fashion. He was never really good in social situations and he never really got used to them either. Milo is just an awkward person in general. Milo let out a sigh and he then looked over at her.
“its busier than usual, huh?” Milo had asked her, trying to create small talk. He was never really good at it at all but he knew that he couldn’t just stand there still all awkward and expect the social situation to just go away. He figured that if he didn’t say anything to her that he would appear to be rude, and that’s something that Milo is far from. He looked at his watch that he wore around his wrist and he then looked up at the people who were working as quickly as they could. In some ways, Milo was in a rush but in others he really wasn’t.
