Steve paced, back and forth, back and forth, in the gym. Sam still wasn't here. Whatever was taking her so long!? She was late for her first session of training. Was she mad at him for kissing her? He still hadn't talked to her after that and he was anxious to see where the two of them stood relationship wise.
The super-soldier sighed and rammed his hand into the punching bag, sending it flying from where it hung. He swore softly and thought, Good Lord I probably screwed it up! He picked up another punching bag and hung it up and drew back his fist to punch it. Then let it go and punched it, hard. But this one didn't fly off the hook it merely swung around, threatening to hit the Captain.
For a few moments, while it lasted, he kept his thoughts off Sam and onto the punching bag as it was repeatedly struck by his clenched knuckles. His fists were clasped so hard that his hand was turning ghostly pale, but Captain Rogers didn't really care. Instead he did all he could to keep his mind off Sam - late for her first training session with Captain America.
Steve sighed softly and sat down and he thought, She's probably angry with me...or something...I don't know. She probably is mad that I just left...dammit I screwed it up, just like I thought I would. The super soldier sighed once more and got up to leave, deciding that she wasn't coming. He went to the door and was just placing his hand on the knob...

Sam had spent the last few nights sleepless , or well just a few hours of sleep due to her growing confusion , he had kissed her and then run off like she was carrying some plague. She didn't know what to do about this and so she had spent the last few days wondering what she should do about this.
It hadn't helped that when she finally did get some sleep she was haunted by dreams of the two kissing and much more than that.Why couldn't he just want her , come up and tell her that. She wanted to be his , she wanted to be in his arms. She dreamed about kissing those lips more.
She had thrown things , punched bags and nothing helped to work off the frustrations over this confusion. She wished sometimes that she was a lot more forward than she was but she gave up last night trying to figure it out and tried to get some damn sleep , which lead to her oversleeping and resulting in her being late for the first training session with her new trainer and confusing crush.
When she finally woke up ,she nearly screamed as she worried she would get fired for this. She rushed and got dressed and brushed her teeth and ran towards the gym and hated the fact that it was so far away from her room.
She took a deep breath outside the door and prayed that she wouldn't become a blabbering mess once she walked inside ,that is if he was s still there. she reached for the doorknob and sighed before pulling on the door ,seeing Steve standing there . "hi .. ahm so sorry for being late , please don't tell fury .. " she begged

Sam burst into the room and Steve couldn't keep from smiling. "You came!" He exclaimed and pulled her into a hug. "I didn't think you'd come...because....of...yeah..." Nervousness shuddered through him and he stepped back, casting his blue eyes to the ground. He looked sheepishly at her and gave a crooked smile, "Sorry?" He murmured.
He felt really horrible about leaving, but he'd been incredibly embarrassed...and yet didn't understand why he'd run. He ran a hand through his blonde hair and sighed, casting his blue eyes to her once more and then back at the ground.
Then the super soldier looked back up at her. He moved to her side, just slow careful steps. He stood before and whispered, brushing a strand of her beautiful wild hair from her face, "Does this make up for my jerkish behavior?" He asked her as he leaned down and kissed her.

Sam looked at him and smiled softly ,her cheeks a deep red as she couldnt help but to think of those dreams."why wouldnt i .. i mean just cause . ahm .. i just overslept .. im sorry bout that " she smiled and licked her lips nervously " its okay .. i was just shocked .."
Sam sighed softly , she wondered if she wasnt good enough or if he had someone else, just cause he was captain america didnt mean that he didnt have any other women. Maybe she was a bad kisser ? "Its okay i get it .. im not mad at you ?" she smiled a bit sadly as all sorts of sad endings of this crush on him ran trough her head.
She looked at him and wondered why he moved to her side with slow steps , was he planning something , should she be worried , did he want an escape route?. his fingers brushed some of the hair away , she didnt even have the time to brush it properly this morning." you werent a jerk .. im the one who should be sorry .. i must have been a bad kisser . i just . dont do those things a lot " she rambled before he leaned down and claimed her lips with his.She blushed and closed her eyes ,savoring the moment as worry grew s she feared he might run off again.

He ran his fingers through her hair and found his one eyes closing. He loved her. He loved Samantha Drysdyn Winters. There was no war between Amelia or anyone else. He loved Sam and felt the need to tell her. He end their kiss a few seconds later and whispered to her, compassion in his sky blue eyes, "Sam...I love you."
He'd said it. And the truth of it smacked him hard. He had never realized it before now and now that he was staring into her eyes he knew. He knew that it was Sam. It had always been Sam. He didn't know how he'd never realized it before, but now that he had the fact filled him up and he beamed at her. .

Sam would have walked trough to hell to keep this moment , his soft lips on hers and his warm gentle fingers running trough her hair with such sweetness.She didnt know what love felt like but she was pretty sure that it felt a lot like this.She would have done anything to be his , shed do anything to just keep him close to her. Her eyes brimmed with tears of relief and joy as she heard his sweet voice ,saying those three little words all girls dreamed of hearing.
She wasnt sure what to do other kiss him more deeply and wraps her arms around him."i-i love you too " she stuttered out softly as her nerves took the upper hand. she had never said those words to anyone outside her closest family and friends and never meant it in this way. "i really do .. i love you steve "

Steve grinned at her, "Oh Sam...you really are beautiful," He told her, "And don't let anyone else tell you differently." He kissed her back passionately and wrapped his arms around her, running his fingers through her coppery hair, loving the moment.
He hadn't felt something like this before. Of course he'd loved Peggy Carter but not as much as he did Sam right now. He felt ashamed thinking that but it was the truth. Sam was the girl that held his heart right now and he didn't mind it at all.

Sam blushed softly and looked at him more." thank you Steve ..your so sweet and kind . you have really stolen my heart " she confessed with a gentle tone before pressing her lips more against his sweet and addictive lips.His fingers so soft and gentle when they ran trough her hair. She couldnt remember the last time she felt this happy and to think it was all because of him.
So many years ago she had thought she could never love a man , never fall in love with someone.She didnt imagine herself falling for a man , and certainly not someone as good as Steve. She never thought that her happiness could come from love. She was happy that she had made it this far , that she had fallen for him and she hoped that they would be together.

The captain grinned at her blush and replied, "And you, beautiful girl, have truly captured my heart." He kissed her back, running his fingers through her coppery hair. Steve had never really known that he could be this happy with someone. Sure Peggy he'd cared for and possibly loved, but not as much as he did Sam. He thought, This is perfect...absolutely perfect.
And he believed it. He wanted to be Sam, help her and care for her. He wanted to be there to dry her tears and chase away her fears. He didn't want to let her go. He knew that he would, without a doubt, give up his life for her. That was something else he believed. Captain America just wanted this girl, Miss Coffee, but his side for all time. And he wished they would be able to have a life together.

Sam couldnt but to stand there with the biggest smile on her face as she finally knew what being in love felt like. "well i will treasure it " she said softly and kissed his lips softly. " i never knew i could feel like this .. not after .. ahm .. forget it " she said softly and rested her head on his chest.
This was truly her little slice of heaven and she wouldnt give it up for the world, she would gladly die for him.She never wanted to let go of him and she was overjoyed that he had falled for her , a simple human being and not some superhero.She didnt have any magical skills or superhuman talents and she often wondered how she managed to become an agent in training.
But no matter how hard her worries tried creep up , Being near steve somehow made them all go quiet and it was just this blissful feeling.She knew she wanted to be with him trough everything.

"Not after what?" asked Steve, running his hand through her hair, leaning down and kissing the top of her head. "You know you can tell me anything, Miss Coffee" He told her, smiling gently. "Did someone hurt you? Because if they did, I'll kill them!" And he meant it.
The captain was glad that he was here with her, but he wanted to know what was wrong. No he needed to. He loved her.

"please .. its a long time ago .. it doesnt matter ." she said softly and looked up at him as he was so gentle with her.He was so sweet and kind to her , she couldnt tell him what had happened as she feared he would be disgusted with her. that he wouldnt understand that she wasnt able to defend herself back then.
" you dont have to kill anyone for me .. trust me . i already have someone willing to do that .. my sister " says softly and hugs him and holds him close to her. " it doesnt matter anymore . im just happy to be with you " says softly and rests her head on his chest.
Sam loved him too much to tell him of she had spent years trying to get over what happened to her when she was younger.she sighed softly and kissed on the spot where his heart was. "i love you steve , so very much "

Steve took her hands and and clasped them close to her his heart. He kissed her fingertips. "Oh Sam, I love you with my very soul, and I'm asking you, because of my love for you, that you tell me what you're talking about." He looked into her eyes, her beautiful hazel eyes, having a pretty mix of green and brown. He ran a hand through her coppery hair and the tips of his fingers over her cheeks. "I'll still love you, that will never change."
The captain smiled at her. What ever was bothering her seemed to take a lot from her. He wouldn't ever hurt her, and he didn't want anyone else to hurt her. Just the thought made his anger boil and bubble up inside of him like heated water. He took a deep breath to calm his anger and stared into her hazel eyes, waiting for her answer. He wanted to know even if it would hurt him, as long as she wouldn't be hurt by telling him.

Sam looked up in his eyes and smiled softly and kissed his heart more and wrapped her arms tighter around his waist." i love you so much and I'm scared of telling you this , what i you decide you don't want someone like me anymore " she said weakly and looked up in his eyes. "you don't know if you can still love me after knowing what happened "
Sam sighed softly and rested her head against his strong muscular chest and wondered if he could ever love her after knowing what had happened back then."long time ago . when we lived in Norway , my grandfather .. ahm did some things he shouldn't have done .. he hurt me really bad , nearly broke me , my sister escaped it though as she did her best to avoid him and never be alone with him , i wasn't that smart , i didn't know what he was doing was wrong .. " she said with a heartbreaking sadness in her voice.
"please don't hate me Steve , please i love you too much to ever want to lose you " she was begging and she knew i her sister was here she would probably tell her it was alright and it wasn't her fault. she sighed softly as she waited for his reaction

He was horrified. How could anyone be that...that...oh what was the word? Ah yes! How could anyone be that sick!? Steve was angry too. He wanted to punch that man. He pressed his lips to Sam's and told her, after ending the kiss, "Oh Sam...I'm so sorry that, that had to happen to you..."
Captain Rogers shook his head in disgust, the hate flashing through his blue eyes. "I'll kill that man," he snarled, anger gleaming in his eyes. "How could anyone do something like that!?" He raged, angry.
Steve shook his head. "I won't let anyone do anything like that to you again," he told her, staring into her eyes. "I promise." He brushed the tips of his fingers gently across her cheek. "They'd have to kill me first." He vowed, kissing her again.
