... and i told you it was stop.
Jenna had been out with her cousin and they'd ended up in a club. It wasn't unusual for them, and nor was Jenna getting hit on while out with her cousin. Usually, she really didn't mind... Actually, she usually quite liked it... But then again, she was normally working at the same time. She wasn't tonight, and now she did mind that guys were mindlessly hitting on her. She was out, trying to have a good time like she would have with Dylan. Men weren't her favourite people at that point.
After the same guy tried five different, crappy pick-up lines, Jenna rolled her eyes. Was he ever going to stop? He didn't seem to be taking the hint, but then again it was possible he would grow a brain...
"What your sign, baby?"
Jenna grabbed his drink from the bar, lifted it above his head and turned the glass over. The liquid inside fell onto his head and shoulders, dripping down him within seconds. Her gaze turned to his face and she smiled as she put his glass down on the bar with a slight 'thunk'.
"It's stop." She answered, turning her attention from him and picking up her own drink to sip at it. He swore at her and moved off grumpily, probably to go and clean the alcohol from him. She tipped her head back and finished her drink before putting the now empty glass down and looking around her. She felt a little bit like moving onto another club... Maybe she should do some work. Ha, nope. She made her way through the crowd between her and the door, keeping her head down and not looking at anyone. Dylan had joked before about if they didn't look in guys' eyes then they wouldn't do near them - possibly like Pokémon trainers. Jenna was wondering now whether it worked or not.
Reaching the door without anyone talking to her, she pushed it open and exited the club onto the cool streets of Gotham. She glanced around before beginning to move down the dark street, wandering quite happily between the pools of lights from the street lights. Within minutes, she was twirling her way down the street, heels clicking on the pavement and her arms in the air. A grin was on her features as she moved, though she almost fell off the curb. She managed to stay on the pavement and began walking normally while laughing at herself. Across the road, a figure who'd obviously had too much to drink fell over with a surprised shout. This caused Jenna to laugh harder and she had to stop, pressing her hand against the wall as she laughted in order to stay standing.
((NOTES: title and lyric at the top from Take a Hint by the Victorious Cast. Awesome song. Very catchy, too.))
